Rather too simplistic. There is a large capitalist-anarchist community here on Reddit, and many self-proclaimed Left-wing Anarchists are regularly calling for more government intervention in all manner of things. Similarly, fascism doesn't really fit a conventional left-right spectrum. The National Socialists were undoubtedly fascist but also very clearly socialist in many regards, like in their beliefs about industrial nationalisation.

Doubt he's making up stories. This kind of behaviour is becoming common in women. Here's an example: https://youtu.be/Xbobxc3iGmw

LMAO. Just received exactly the same message from r/JusticeServed myself, for posting the criticism above. What a shower of snowflakes.

So many subs are now deeply politicised. r/AITA and r/JusticeServed, for example, are basically a progressive circle-jerk, where posters want valuation that their obnoxious actions were acceptable, and/or want to laugh at people who don't share their same world-view being hurt.

Report to UK Advertising Standards Authority. Advert is unacceptable and factually wrong. Direct them to the research by the Pew Center for Social Media which shows that men receive more online hate than women (but women report being more affected by it) and that much of the hate directed to women is actually sent by other women.

However, intelligence doesn't mean honesty, integrity or impartiality. Smart people are also much better at rationalisation - making the facts fit the theory (rather than vice versa). Hence if they have an ideological bias to start with, they can convince themselves (and others) that the data supports it.

Minor correction: if you act like you're hurt or offended, you'll look weak. Otherwise, the advice to treat him like a kid is solid. Much of the advice re shit tests applies to guys, too: if you can't ignore or AA, then pressure flip back to him.

If OP is reading this: I would seriously want you to go all out in talking to the papers. Many would love to run the story and give you a sympathetic version in return for exclusivity. Obviously the scouts would stop you if they got wind, but sod it. This kind of shit has to stop, and it will not unless people like you are brave enough to tell it to the public.

Look approachable. That is, don't look like you're a crazy, sour feminist who will scream harassment if a guy talks to you. Smile. Make eye contact. Don't bury your face in your phone. Having said all that, this is 2019. Women can approach guys too, you know. And frankly most guys are so starved of attention that you can say or do pretty much anything, and get away with it.

Just like 'Racist!', 'Nazi!', 'Misogynist!' these words have all pretty much lost their meaning through over-use. I just laugh when I hear any of these nowadays; it shows that they have no coherent argument left.

Yes, I believe so. And much more likely to mirror behaviour of those around them. E.g. there's a famous experiment where young babies are put next to a kid who is crying. Girls invariably start crying too (even though there's no negative influence or experience other than the other crying kid), whilst boys generally sit there and do their own thing. Reveals a basic difference in psychology between the sexes.

Ever see this study? Researchers sent 2500 job applications, with same CV but different photos (or none). Hot women were considerably less likely to be interviewed. Researchers concluded that HR teams, being mainly female, bitchily binned their CVs as they didn't want competition! https://www.economist.com/business/2012/03/31/dont-hate-me-because-im-beautiful

Not just that, though. AITA is particularly full of self-righteous women seeking validation. There was a revealing post a few days ago where someone posted the exact same question twice, with genders reversed - and predictably the 'man' was called an asshole whilst the 'woman' was completely excused! It's become an ideologically biased dump of a sub.

Yeah. Increasingly am of the view that giving women the vote was a bad idea: they are more socialist than men, and always want others to absolve them of responsibility - and pay - for their own actions.

Welcome to the fold, brother, and thanks for posting that warning to others. You're still waaaay younger than many of us here. Some of us didn't find our way here for another decade or two. I did chuckle at SJW's heads exploding over those posters saying 'Islam is right about women'. They were deeply offended but couldn't articulate why (because it highlighted the irreconcilable conflict between supporting Islam and supporting women's rights, which they have to pretend doesn't exist)

TRP is about inner change, not tactics. (Thus making it about much more about personal development, not just Game) I should be the prize. (Don't put women on a pedestal; increase my own SMV) We live in a Matriarchy, which preferences women (and whose core strategy is to constantly present women as oppressed, in order to impose controls on male behaviour.)

Vast over-simplification. It was official Communist Party belief for decades that environmental degradation was caused by market externalities and hence wouldnt occur under central planning. It was soon obvious that was a lie, but couldn't be admitted officially, so the State didnt try to correct it. Today, the issue is that China is pursuing growth at all costs - e.g. building more coal-fired power stations in a year than Europe did in half a century. You can't blame the West for that.

This post made me think about my (still far too strong) BP values, and where they came from. Reflecting on them, I see some originating with my parents, some my church, some from marriage counselors, others from broader society. Identifying their origins makes it a bit easier to kill the unhelpful beliefs. For me, the idea of self-sacrifice is one of the toughest to reject. Some of the biggest figures in my childhood were relatives with a strong military background, who defined my ideas of mascu…

Poor spelling irritates me, too, but mainly since it indicates sloppiness in the person posting an error-strewn profile. To demand such things of others in your own profile is a bit, well, weird, especially when the rest of the profile is an unappealing wreck.

No, just that the marriage had "irretrievably broken down" before he did. But his authorised biography says he resumed his affair with Camilla in 1986. Diana was allegedly sleeping with her bodyguard, Barry Mannakee, in 1985 and with James Hewitt in 1986.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen21/10/19 02:01 PM
3

True. Diana didn't understand that she was selected merely as breeding stock, and little else. (Still, most women would have accepted that deal if it meant being Queen of England one day...)
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen20/10/19 10:08 PM
3

No evidence. The media tends to believe Diana's version because (i) female privilege and (ii) she published her story first. However, in his 1994 TV interview with Jonathan Dimbleby, Charles said he was faithful "Until it became irretrievably broken down, us both having tried." Certainly Diana was shagging around by 1986, and probably a while before that.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen20/10/19 10:02 PM
13

Charles said he was faithful until he realised that Diana hadn't been. She had a string of lovers - Hewitt, Gilbey, etc - before they divorced. Charles only had the one bit on the side, Camilla.

In other men? Strength, loyalty, courage, integrity. In women? Femininity (not feminism). Youth. Beauty. Then add back in all the stuff that feminists are actively opposed to, like obedience, the ability to cook a good meal, keep a good home, etc., and you have a fine woman.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen18/10/19 07:41 AM

I feel a bit more pity: pity since so many women are clearly slaves to biology ("I had to fulfill my dream of being a mother"); pity since so many swallow the Disney Princess crap ("I needed a magical spark"); and pity since feminism has filled their head with all sorts of nonsense about what a man is 'supposed' to do and who an 'independent woman' is supposed to be. You're spot on. Whenever you see a mother trying to be best friends with her daughter - out shopping for clothes together, even out clubbing together - instead of actually parenting, it's invariably a SM. The daughter grows up with no idea of what it actually means to assume parental responsibility, and the cycle repeats. Single motherhood is self-perpetuating between generations in the same ways that child abuse is, sadly.

This is very true. Took me much longer than I would like to admit to realise that men shit test in this way. TBH, this is often one of the big divides between 'jocks' and 'nerds' at school: it's not just about an emphasis on the physical versus the intellectual; it's that the former tease the latter, and the latter tend to respond to insults literally, rather than with RP-type tactics, which underscores the divide.

There's more than a grain of truth in this. Look at voting patterns by sex. In every country (AFAIK), women lean more heavily to the Left than do men. Part of the reason is because men do the majority of the work, and hence understandably don't want the outputs confiscated through taxation. But women are much more likely to be provided for, either by a man or by the state, and so see redistribution as a more natural state of affairs.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen07/10/19 05:58 PM

Good post. This is Feminism's Great Lie - that women can, and should, spend their prime years competing with men in the workplace, ignoring their clock, and 'playing the field'. Too late, they discover that the world doesn't work the way they are led to believe; that beauty fades; that family provides more fulfilment than careers; and that men won't marry post-Wall women. Feminism actively destroys women's happiness.

I struggle to understand what goes through their minds when they do this. Is it a case of signalling that they're an edgy non-conformist (and hence that 'traditional' men need not apply), or a case of ego-defence (knowing that many men will simply be repulsed by her, so she's trying to pre-empt their rejection and mockery), or something else?
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen01/10/19 06:21 PM

Could be. But perhaps more likely, the thought of putting themselves in male shoes and advertising themselves to men hasn't even crossed their mind: 99% of female profiles are merely about what they want, not what they offer. Baby is there because supporting it is part of what they are looking for.

Exactly the same is happening in the tech industry, where women are being put off by exaggerated stories of rampant sexism and 'hostile environments' for women in STEM. (I've had female friends tell me that they wouldn't have started their job of they'd listened to alarmist feminists - but others do). Then the situation gets worse and feminists get even more hysterical.

Kaczynski had many insightful gems to offer. But being a terrorist kinda put a dampener on the acceptance of his work... Regardless, IMO he was right about many things, especially the deep need for surrogate activities in humans, and how this often leads to us feeling unfulfilled by technology. As explained, on the one hand, humans are lazy, and want to save labor; on the other, we value things most when we have worked for them.

Someone else suggested this recently. It's an interesting theory when applied to dating profiles, isn't it? Red Pill turned nihilist. Some of the MGTOW community are like that: believe that the odds are so stacked against men that the only sensible move is not to play. (Others just see the MGTOW goal as things other than sex).

I lurk on both subs quite a bit - as do quite a few others. Both stress self-improvement and positive masculinity, with a realistic, non-feminist, view of women's (sexual) strategies. However, my understanding is the Red Pill differs from the 'Black Pill' in that the former places a lot of emphasis on sex, whilst to an extent the latter emphasises other goals. For that reason, some of the TRP community see the MGTOW community just as 'butthurt losers who can't get sex and so have stopped trying'…

Not a helpful response. I've met some very hot 40yo's and there's nothing inherently wrong with sleeping with one, if that's what OP fancies. Good read. But I don't take most MGTOWs as saying that it's just about looks. Whilst some are, my understanding is that most of them agree with the core RP philosophy, as well as the ethos of self-improvement. They're just saying that the end-goals of that process might not be about sex.

That's literally Jessica Valenti's position. (She wrote an article for the Guardian, a left-wing UK paper, on how she hated being cat-called. Read Laura Kipnis's book Unwanted Advances. “Sexual consent can now be retroactively withdrawn (with official sanction) years later,” she writes on p. 91, “based on changing feelings or residual ambivalence, or new circumstances. Please note that this makes anyone who’s ever had sex a potential rapist.” (See similar remarks on p. 122.) Yes. As I said in the other ‘red flag’ thread, it shows that a woman is more interested in short-term pleasure than long-term consequences, and is not too fussy about what she lets inside her body. Good prospect for a plate; awful prospect for a LTR.

Dance classes are massively under-rated, probably as they’re seen as a bit effeminate by many guys. But I went to dance classes for several years (mixed stuff: jive, salsa, ballroom), and learned two important things: first, dance classes are 90% women, and they really want to dance with men (else they have to take turns in the men’s role); second, women love it when a guy can salsa or tango properly...

You need to do what is right not what is popular. The social justice mob don't like TRP, nor a whole host of divergent opinions. Screw them. Make up your own mind and don't worry about the opinions of other people, or let them shame you into behaving the way that they want. That said, a 'no friends policy' sounds kinda autistic. Everyone benefits from having friends to laugh with, confide in and help you out. Maybe you need to spend more time building friendships with guys that share similar val…

Feminist/SJW word for wrongthink. As with words like ‘patriarchy’, ‘mansplaining’, ‘privilege’, ‘cis’, ‘misogyny’, it usually marks the user as infected by progressive ideology, bereft of logic and incapable of individual thought.

The first step is always the hardest. Force yourself to the gym - just damn do it - and you'll come out thinking to yourself 'that actually feels good; I want to come here again'. After that it gets easier. (If you're putting it off because you worry that other guys will laugh at your skinny ass, don't; they DGAF. Or buy yourself a second-hand bench and weights to use at home.)

The only correct part of this reply is that he should move out. He doesn't need a counsellor, he needs to learn to assert himself. And there's absolutely nothing wrong with wanting a subservient gf.

Smoking for me is a major red flag for LTR for the reasons you give, but can be a green flag for ONS as it says to me "I care about a few minutes of pleasure more than the long-term consequences, and am not too fussed about what I let into my body". Mind you, the taste of second-hand tobacco is disgusting.

I used to see tattoos as a big red flag. Perhaps I was correct to do so in my earlier days (late teens, 20s...) But they're now so common that it's not just the 'bad girls' that have them, so I'm rethinking this one.

Too damned right. Unfortunately courts are demonstrably biased in favour of women. Usually get merely a couple of months for perjury.

Not just attention. Sometimes (i) revenge; (ii) being caught cheating by their partner and claiming it was rape as a defence; (iii) a psychological 'anti-slut' defence - i.e. were drunk or otherwise regret what they did, and calling it rape removes responsibility for their own actions.

Have a look here: http://www.returnofkings.com/22079/the-truth-about-false-rape-accusations-that-all-men-should-know There are various databases online, but feminists are very efficient at getting them taken down on DDOS'd, since reporting the fact that false rape occurs undermines the feminist claim that 'women don't lie about rape'. They do. In fact, there are two cases in the UK (of proven false allegations, not just 'balance of evidence' unproven) this week alone - including Laura Hood and a…

It's a form of humblebragging ('I'm so desirable; people want to touch my ass') together with victimhood (which guarantees her attention) - which is why she's doing this. Many girls are like this, regrettably, especially as there are no repercussions for making false allegations. As others have said, friends who will drop you over this aren't true friends, so don't worry about them. Still hurts, I'm sure, but in the long run it's not really a loss.

Interestingly, Jane Austen used the phrase to mean having many lovers simultaneously. Though that usage is much less common, perhaps the woman was inadvertently quite accurate!

It's a recognised phrase in British English, meaning to possess multiple talents. Not normally applied to drinking wine and liking nice hotels, though.

A significant proportion (about 8-10% last time I checked) of rape claims are proven false - e.g. text messages from the complainant saying she loves him; video evidence that she consented; reliable evidence that the guy was elsewhere. Often the claims are made with malicious intent. The problem is that the complainant often then gets let off or, at most, a few months on prison for perjury or perverting the course of justice. A hefty 10-year sentence for liars would cause others to think twice b…

That's the problem. No effective deterrent. Personally, I would make the penalties for making knowingly false allegations the same as for the crime itself.

Self-indulgent female behaviour: asks for an opinion, but she's not actual seeking opinions or solutions; instead she's really seeking validation that her behaviour is right. So she'll keep posting in different subs until she finds the one that agrees with her.

Kudos to you for actually asking guys what guys like. Too many women are overly influenced by what other women think men should like. The very fact that you've bothered to ask the question here is a strong point in your favour; you've evidently not swallowed too much feminist nonsense. I second the comments here about highlighting what you bring to the table for a guy (90+% of online profiles from women are entirely self-centered, simply saying what they want from a partner). You need to highlig…

Conversational skills are massively under-rated. My grandparents' generation talked about the Art of Conversation. Finishing schools taught it. For centuries, it was explicitly part of a lady's (and gentleman's) upbringing. Nowadays we've lost that; it's become merely what we do to fill time.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen23/07/19 08:35 AM

I think that is a misinterpretation. He saw the rise of feminism as a potentially unstoppable force, which he had witnessed in other species. It's not that compassion was a superior trait, nor that this would be beneficial for mankind in terms of its development. "Our civilization will sink to a state like that which is found among the bees, ants and other insects--a state wherein the male is ruthlessly killed off. In this matriarchal empire which will be established the female rules. As the fem…

Your dad thinks you’re a waster and a druggie; he’s at the end of his tether with one irresponsible drug-using son and thinks you’re heading the same way, whilst abusing his hospitality. Perhaps you are. You’re 26, not an 18-year old freshman. Take some responsibility for yourself and your actions. Stop partying so hard, get a job, start paying him some rent. The ‘Independence’ you want doesn’t just mean a lack of parental control, it means owning all your own shit.

Tomassi's article is exactly what came to mind when I saw OPs post. Humans have been shaped by millions of years of tribal warfare. Men did the fighting; losers were typically killed or perhaps castrated and kept as slaves - either way, no reproduction. Women, however, were typically the prize taken by the men of the winning tribe - and often still would get to reproduce, unless they were particularly belligerent and unaccepting of the victors, in which case they were treated like the men. The e…

Its interrelated but definitely not the only reason (reasons include the Pill, effect of World wars, changing work patterns, urbanisation, feninisation of teaching and much more). NMMNG describes how absent fathers have led men to look more to mothers and other women for approval and, as a a consequence, imbibe more feminist thinking.
