I will say this:. I'm in IT and supporting colleagues with their tech issues is a big part of my job. I work in an office with about 30 people, 5 of which are men. Whenever those 5 men have a problem, they usually figure it out themselves. The women run straight to me for the most basic issues. I do IT for a company of about 30 people. Me and one other guy are the only IT staff. Aside from the CEO, and one guy in marketing, the entire company is woman. I'm expected to wear a suit to work, the woman get to wear whatever as long as it is classy. I feel the OP's pain.
