I feel like I just wrote this. My husband and I moved 3 times in our marriage and I packed and unpacked boxes each time. We hired movers for the moving. Why are they so useless. I’m happy to hear you know you’ve made a good decision!

You could be right. Sometimes I feel like the universe sends so many signs that are ignored.

Thank you for sharing this post because it’s a reminder of why I should leave my husband before it turns to that exact situation (minus making more money, mine makes so much he makes it a point to keep reminding me how worthless my life will be without him yet he will wants to leave me because of my age and infertility issues)

I was (still am technically but separated) married to this guy for 4.5 years. Total 11 years. I’m 34 now and discarded because I couldn’t give him a child. I worked full time. I cleaned. I cooked. I meal prepped. I did all the grocery shopping. I fixed things around our condo. I bought him his underwear. I picked up the dry cleaning. I commuted 1 hour each way to and from work to live close to his workplace. I work out 5-6 days a week. I do my hair. I take care of myself. He shut me out by being…

My husband left me because I had some infertility issues. We had a failed treatment. He started becoming very distant with me and eventually left because he wanted a break. said we never met goals aka had kids and who knows if we will in the future. This post really resonated with me. I wish his wife didn’t give in so easily. You just gotta stand up for yourself and follow your gut.

Truthfully, I’ve been a pickme partner to my now husband (ex? Going through a break/separation) for 10 years. I’ve allowed myself to be treated like this and I don’t know why. I would never ever tell a friend to do what I did, no way. I’m just very weak.

I wish this subreddit existed 10 years ago! But it’s never too late.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
