They'd rather fixate on the grifters who peak at 1.4 million followers on Instagram than legitimate issues.

...and that's all they ever talk about. We'll get a million big budget documentaries and Adolescents -esque movies talking about the fringe pick up artist grifters before we get a news crawler on CNN mentioning circumcision or father's rights.

It's any situation that needs a sacrifice. If women could solve a problem by making a sacrifice, the problem will never be solved. Inversely, women will passively if not actively participate in forcing a sacrifice onto men.

The thing is, [native] men largly voted and voiced opposition to unlimited illegal migrants. From that POV, men had to have their image tarnished and voice suppressed.

The issue is that they want a nuanced interpretation of their un-nuanced statements. They may not "mean" something but they're normalizing men being broadly generalized and clutch pearls at women getting the same treatment. There is no nuanced interpretation of "all women" statments.

Someone already mentioned social programs but men paying for kids that aren't their's has been true since no-fault divorce in the 60s. If you divorce your wife because she had a child that wasn't yours, you still owe child support because you are the assumed father even when paternity tests say otherwise. If you aren't married and try to leave a single mother, she could still get child support from you via estoppel. The so called "patriarchial society" we all live in doesn't care about paternity…

When the official Democrat position is, as in they have to believe this or they're out of the party, is that men and women need equal treatment but not equal outcomes, I'll believe that the Democrat party would tolerate a men's advocacy position.

"My name is Mok, thanks a lot!" What a good movie. A ton of mega stars at the time like Earth, Wind & Fire, Cyndi Lauper, and Cheap Trick all collaborated to make it only for it be "okay" on reception. I never thought a Mick Jagger parody would make for a good villain.

hyper macho women doing it too The last Mr. Fantastic stared at his palms while Susan took the lead role. The last Human Torch had all of his flawed but masculin character traits removed. Where is this masculinity you speak of? Invincible gets shamed and hen pecked for correctly keeping his identity secret but I guess that's just women doing it too. Superheros like Marvel/DC? For starters, most male heroes in Marvel were demasculated, supplanted by a female character, or both. Disney-Marvel's "male character: the Show" was just the title name character being turned into a side character for a female side kick to outshine him. As much as I love gaming, gaming largly serves as an escape, not a way to confront or solve. Anti-man culture is an effort to grow the list of demands, obligations, & conditions while shrinking the benefits for men to …

My main concern is just function. Things clearly aren't functioning. Systems built to support women that women cannot support on their own are at the heart of many problems. Drop in basic hypocrisy, a one sided "equity" discussion, and you have a system wide effort to both spite and depend on men at the same time. Frankly, it's come to an existential threat.

cognitive It's very cognitive. Men and women don't: see colors the same, adapt our brain the same, evaluate risk the same, speak/register speech the same, experience moods or feelings the same, and experience sexuality the same. That's just what we can say safely for now. The fact that men and women have such a massive difference in libido means that from a sexual market place POV, what is "sexual freedom" for one group could be oppressive to the other. Even the sexual science observations of th…

That's becoming less and less true with every study putting men and women's biology in a side by side. I'm just saying that "the division of labor" has very little to do with modern American "traditional gender roles", not that gender roles are an innate feature of humanity. Corporate over lords don't see a penny from the value a home maker provides.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates10/12/25 11:20 PM
2

Yes, I don't think he knows what the division of labor is, seeing as he capitalized it. The division of labor is simply how labor is divided out to support each other instead each person supporting themselves entirely which humanity has never ever done, not even the oldest records of human life, never between then and now. The division of labor is human, not the result of capitalism. More aptly, it's the result of life naturally specializing.

Communism being anything more than a moral framing of existing observations is new to me. Every piece discussing the idea as *just* an idea start out with historical references as a basis for didactive morality. It doesn't sound so much like it's describing an already functioning machine he's just trying to understand. What's the communist Wealth of Nations? It's certainly not the Communist Manifesto.

Some feminists and feminist literature claim that "feminism" and "egalitarianism" are one and the same. The fact is, if people are left to their own devices, inequality naturally forms just because nature encourages it. Therefore, the only way to live in an egalitarian society is to centrally plan the distribution of resources in the name of egalitarianism. This makes "mutual gain" secondary when mutual gain is the entire purpose of participation in society to begin with. So, it all falls apart.…

Men unfairly, naturally succeed in all or most things; the playing field was just leveled History fun-fact not relevant to the lives of the working age generations and younger. <-original sin A consequence or struggle everyone faces but reframed as if it's a uniquely female problem. In our related subreddit, left wing male advocate, there are too many participants who "support the cause" yet believe that being self sacrificing, family oriented, and defending women/children is an "innate" feature of men. So, even among the well meaning subsection, some take good, pro-social character in men for granted. This also explains the "men shouldn't need an incentive, they should just do it" mentality or taking a high bar and calling it "the bare minimum".

I think the silent, if not overt, sentiment from academics is that "Men deserve this.", "How do you like it?", and "The system is literally made for men; they just aren't trying hard enough." <- Ironically, that's the same sentiment rich Conservatives/GOP have to the poor. I had someone else tell me that the literal Pareto Ratio of sexual selectiveness in women across most dating scenes is the result of men "not putting in the effort". In any environment with any kind of heavy lifting or danger. For me, that was stocking grocery shelves and closing the kitchen. Women were never both cashiers and shelf stockers, they were never expected to empty or fill the fryers. Cleaning anything that needed a modicum of elbow grease was out of the picture. They literally and figuratively want to take out and spend a loan then have someone else pay for it with interest. Most of the student debt bubble is held by women, the consumer credit debt is held mostly by women, and sub-prime loans are mostly held by women. Additionally, women consume so much from social services that their tax contributions are negative. If/when any of this pops, the big firms who profited off this debt will be bailed out on men's tax contributions; then, men will pay for it…

We'll see her called "alt-right" and "sexist" by her peers with that kind conclusion. Demanding women meet standards to meet men in the middle is a sexist, patriarchal standard. But, then again, Google's AI already calls The Telegraph "right-wing" so we're past that, I assume.

Based on that title alone: No shit? You see, I studied what the "patriarchy" is. Feminists won't hand you this definition but a patriarchy is as follows: "A culture which supports itself by, first and foremost, gaming or cultivating male emotional investment." Do you know how you get big, brave men? Cultivating male emotional investment.

This entire claim that women have "more empathy" is from self reported surveys, not objective brain scans. It's not "reality", it's the subjective opinion from researchers in fields with already flimsy credibility.

Yeah, 95% of men here and now would say they feel uncomfortable with hurting women and children but that's like saying every manager is great because the "anonymous" surveys say they are. It's socially unacceptable to say otherwise in any capacity. There are men who wank off to snuff videos while more and more go postal on their schools and work places. Then, more still are choosing child support over being there for their kids. Acting like virtuous behavior is as natural as clean rain will get …

What exactly does Germany not do that Russia/Putin does? Germany already has tons of speech restrictions, weapon restrictions, and they're primed to haul citizens off in the night to fight a fruitless war. They already abuse the law to shut down political opposition like the AfD. Who knows if they actually respect elections because questioning election integrity is probably "hate speech". The rights of men don't exist unless the government fears retaliation for failing to respect those rights.

But with women going around with sullen faces accomplishes nothing. We do a lot of things that don't accomplish anything. We change the way we talk, how we dress, and how we protest. I do remember a Vietnam War which had every hero in American media made into a rebel to consciously or sub-consciously put the audience in the shoes of someone defending their homeland from and over powering enemy, like the Viet Cong. Why would anyone make or even risk the ultimate sacrifice for their nation with that mentality? We would have a nation of cowards who disperse into the arms of the first hands who would feed us like scared animals... and that's not a nation.

Respect first and foremost. Tradition isn't just "peer pressure from the dead;" it's assurance that any one person's ultimate sacrifice for the big picture won't be fruitless. Evidence based justice, due process in a court with a jury of our peers, civil rights, human rights, representative democracy, meritocracy... these are all traditional ideals we know gynocentric culture has zero respect for.

For me, it's not so much about any kind of roles. More so, it's about a wife worth fulfilling those roles for. If I am to fight, I want a nation worth fighting for. If I am to "be a man" for a wife, I want a wife worth manning up for. Future definitions should go like this: feminism noun fem·i·nism 1. An equality movement for women. 2. A sexual supremacy movement for women. *Merriam-Webster

Listening to their hard day, validating their concerns, confirming that things are probably okay and if they aren't, you/we will make it through. It's not that tough. It doesn't merit a whole new expression added to the zeitgeist unless you're looking to justify skirting the minimum in a relationship.

stop whining It's oh so common. The political party- the entire school of thought- that lives and dies on bringing inequities and unfairness to light, on bringing the margins of society forward, telling anyone to "stop whining". The irony is completely lost on them.

I am sorry that has been your experience. This comes off as insincere customer service speak and the ending sounds like a sales pitch. 😵‍💫

> It's chosen by a fight for dominance amongst the males, the females are stuck with whoever won. Yes, that's called male-male *sexual selection*. That entire narrative doesn't even know what sexual selection is to begin with. Male-male sexual selection is enabled when female members gather in tight clusters. Most often, it's because resources are clustered... such as during agriculture. What male-male sexual selection looks like is dependent on the most effective way to secure paternity. Humani…

That's such a nonsense interpretation of agriculture's impact on humanity. It actually goes against everything we know about sexual selection.

I think propagandists know this which is why they use images instead of text. Take this sexual harassment PSA. Obviously, they make no explicit generalizing statement but whenever every SA PSA is framed like this, the message is clear. If you're Dr. Femstudy and you're teaching a class on making propaganda effective communication, you'll teach the dangers of perpetuating stereotypes. Dr. Femstudy says: "Avoid legal trouble, don't make any statements, only imply. Imagery works best for as long as…

It's the paradox of intersectionality. It's all men, too many men, and not all men but always a man. However, it's 4 layers of sex, race, identity, and social class everywhere else.

Seriously, the left would never tolerate such blanket condemnation of another culture like that, yet I made my post earlier in this subreddit stating that ID pol isn't about facts or any reasoning, it's purely gaming voting blocs. Men get treated with dignity the day they learn to vote as a bloc. It's hard political power in a softy power system.

Based in the same data and reasoning, you could also say that it's just young people who vote the least selfishly. However, the party talking points that pander to just young women run contrary to that idea.

I can't really say what anyone's motives are. My guess is that it's independent voters who will switch parties depending on who they think is the most likely to help the whole country moment to moment, election to election. That said, Pew Research says that young people, leaning male majority, make up most of the independent vote. That lines up with party talking points never pandering to young male interests. Ergo, young men vote the most selflessly.

It's not what's wrong, it's just how things work. Any group who wants to be "neutral" or "do what's best for everyone" is going to find themselves backed against the wall as society is organized to leach off them before doing anything for them.

That's the conversation stopper with most feminist and liberal users: "What are you or society doing to promote the kind of men you or we want? What are your ideal systems?" (-1, never responds) or, the response is "They should just know and do without being rewarded."... which isn't how reality works. Yeah, no shit men are flocking to the first prominent person who validates their concerns and insecurities.

I'm laying out the material reality of how these parties works. The same skill set used to sell cellular internet plans is the same skill set used to get elected. The change of tune and cheap "mental health programs" are closer to marketing material than any real sentiment. Men were neglected because their vote was split between (R)s and (D)s no matter what the talking points or policy was. So, the conversation turned from "How can we serve the nation?" to "Who can serve women the most?" So far,…

The DNC is completely married to the idea that equality means "take things away from men and give it to women." So much for 'intersectionality.' Edit: The reason behind this is because men didn't vote in a bloc. They could continue to inject more and more 'men bad, women good' talking points and policy, meanwhile, the male vote wouldn't change and the female vote would build. At the same time, any dialog sympathetic to men would still not change the male vote while the female vote would drastica…

Didn't multiple countries, like Germany and the AFD party, have elections where a large portion of men aged [minimum voting age]-30 voted for a far right party?

That's my retort. "Men commit x% of this crime." True, however, only .00x% of men have committed any violent/sexual crime. Is it fair to judge all men based on the actions of that small portion? It's almost no men as a result of men's efforts.

USAID had a lot to do with funding deliberately divisive narratives like painting all male spaces as housing a "rape culture". I'm sure USAID had it's purposes here and there but it certainly wasn't helping us.

I had a similar interaction over the "man vs. bear" question from so long ago. I stated that the question is inherently gaming the audience as it forces the viewer to compare a man and a wild animal. To "choose the bear" is to state that you assume men in general, even if it's one you don't know, are a worse encounter than one with a 1000 pound animal. A user popped out of the blue to state that: The question didn't mean what it stated. It actually meant something completely divorced from the wo…

Feminists just need to admit they never cared about Men's Issues Just being straight forward would save us decades, if not generations, of heartburn and frustration.

If you've ever attended any of these activist classes- like Women's Studies- they will all tell you that language matters. To initiate change, start with language. So, if any feminist thought leader was concerned with including or helping men by any metric, they would start by using a new terms adjacent to feminism or feminist vocab that includes men in a sympathetic light. Basically, you can peer into the soul of these movements just based on the language they use. You can tell when the feminis…
