Like many guys I used to have a problem escalating and being honest with my intentions and would always go indirect. Now I think I might be too far the other way, I have been opening with something like "I think you're cute and I wanted to say hi." Next time you go out take some pictures with hot chicks with your phone, it's an easy way to touch them.
