Calling male violence against women an "epidemic" doesn't logically imply that violence by women against men is insignificant or unworthy of attention. Multiple serious social problems can exist at the same time. It's also not "whataboutism" to point out that male victims exist when the discussion is framed in a way that suggests men are only perpetrators. If someone claims violence is a uniquely male problem or ignores male victims entirely, bringing up female perpetrators is directly relevant …

bro I just don’t even think about these things. You guys are committed to being victims. Those women just want to partake in a hobby they aren’t thinking about you at all. Get a life.

Misogyny can be perpetuated by both men and women. Women may exhibit internalised misogyny through social or emotional behaviours, such as reinforcing sexist stereotypes or judging other women. However misogyny perpetrated by men is often discussed more because it has historically been linked to physical violence, discrimination, and systemic inequalities that have had broader societal consequences

In what way are they forcing video games to be catered to them? And no women are not new to video games lol they have been players, developers, designers, and competitors since the start of gaming industry in 1970s and 1980s. The perception that gaming is a predominantly male hobby emerged largely because of marketing strategies and gaming media in the late 1980s and 1990s. not because women were absent.

and therefore women should protect themselves as well. Considering the long history of violence women have faced from men…

By your same logic making the same generalisation about women is wrong? You guys get mad about women saying “all men” but you make the very same comments.

are you homosexual? Genuine question. Surely the same people who say “not all men” would apply the same logic to women. Or are you not attracted to women.

How is it women’s fault if men are the ones grading them based on their looks? Shouldn’t the men perhaps not judge women on their looks
