Agree 100%. A lot of it has to do with the fact that the men in the age range that OP seems to be seeking interactions from are just not the demographic likely to do that.

I would also add that a lot of men in the age range OP seems to be looking for are, by my experience, either not the kind to be confident enough to approach an attractive/poised woman or aren’t going to do it in the way one would probably prefer.

My comment doesn’t say wanting marriage/children is good or bad, just that you might be asking these questions of the wrong subreddit because none of the desires or aspects of your relationship with this guy seem to line up with traditional rp values. This doesn’t seem like the place you’re going to get advice that works for you, that’s all.

Nothing is wrong with not wanting children.

That’s not what this subreddit is about.

If you don’t want marriage or kids, you may be on the wrong subreddit- those aren’t requirements of being a redpill woman but they are often foundational to this type of ideology…. Anyway it’s probably a good thing you don’t desire either of those because the descriptions you are giving of this guy are very strong cases as to why he is not husband/father material.

How serious are you? What does he do for work? Are you long distance? In order to respond to this well I think we need more information, because when I read that he is “vanishing” that sounds like you don’t seem to be on the same page relationship wise or he’s not committed to you. That may not be the case, but without other information on the context that is very odd…

I agree that Mrs Midwest is great. Lovely content on traditional femininity, homemaking and motherhood.

She’s great, I discovered her about a year ago and I really enjoy her content. It’s also nice to see someone share their experience as a ‘reformed’ redpill woman, who lived differently before she embraced feminine and traditional living. She seems very intelligent and has great experience and wisdom to share on the issues that impact women like us.

100% agree. That idiotic and pathetic excuse for a “man” has no place in conservative minded circles, especially in regards to motherhood and the family unit. He is not redpill in any sense of the word. Truly immoral and upsetting.

Exactly. No idea why someone on this sub would post this. A little concerned.

Also I recommend Mrs. Midwest. She’s not at all a “feminine Andrew Tate counterpart” (🤮🤢)but if you’re looking for conservative feminine content she’s great. I’ve been watching her for years.

Andrew Tate is not redpill or based or in any way aligned with conservative values. He’s a sex offender, possibly a sex trafficker, as well as an extremely insecure, immoral, and emasculate person. Why on earth people who claim to be “redpill” even entertain him at all is beyond me and disturbing.

Girl that’s not redpill that’s controlling and could easily turn abusive. I’ve been in the same situation.

Definitely agree with this. OP sounds like a capable and resourceful woman. You can strike a balance, but that option isn’t even on the table until you talk to your husband about your needs and desires. Be honest!

That sounds terrible, I’ll have to take a look. Thanks!

Exactly, I think a big part of the problem with these discussions is that based on their experience, worldview, maturity, etc, women all have different ideas on what that means to them personally.

Yes, that is what playing is. That’s why I don’t do it nor do I believe in it. Women shouldn’t play games or have to act or present themselves as something else in order to get a man, because that is exactly the same thing as being desperate and rolling over for them, as you are still letting your interest in the man dictate your behavior.

I definitely agree with you, I don’t play hard to get and I don’t think it’s a good thing to do (I actually left an individual comment on this post which you might see aligns with you). I was just asking because what I find is that a lot of the time women equate “playing hard to get” with anything other than rolling over for a man or being overly accessible/desperate, and was curious as to your definition

This comment confuses me. What exactly do you mean by playing hard to get in this situation? If men who want to put effort into courtship and really work for the woman they want are “thirsty/low value,” then what is your vision of a high value man? One who ignores you, doesn’t care enough to chase, etc?

Also, how you treat yourself. How you carry yourself, how you present yourself. I remember when I was in college there was a girl in my class who would always show up to events with the most attractive guys, but she wasn’t what we would call conventionally pretty. Her secret? She was incredibly confident and always smiling. How you look objectively is not as important as we despair over it to be. It’s surprisingly simple to come off as more physically attractive than you are or how you feel by c…

High value men of course want pretty women, EVERYONE wants a pretty woman. It also is effective in terms of attracting attention right off the bat (let’s not forget that if you aren’t specially attractive in any way you can still make yourself appear attractive and command attention via other tactics of presentation). However, truly high value men do not despair over looks, they care more about whether or not the woman values herself, whether she comes off as a prize they want to win or not. Tha…

Thanks. Personally, based on a lot of these comments, I’m kind of confused as to what the OP means specifically by “hard to get” so I hope my answer was helpful somehow.

I don’t believe in “playing” anything. I AM hard to get. I have a busy schedule, high standards, and I command respect and confidence. Men want the prize they have to work for, they don’t want you to fall at their feet. Men are wired to want to hunt, to achieve, to put in effort! Why would a man be satisfied with a woman who rolls over at the first sign of his interest? The answer is: they aren’t. A high value man wants to work for a high value woman, and a high value woman has to be worked for.

I think it’s a great idea. Could also be an anchor for you personally as a sort of progress catalogue/diary

Men do think differently than women on things like this because of biological wiring, but there is a difference between that and actually disrespectful behavior. Honestly, I would never put up with this behavior from a man and I don’t think you should either. I think it’s a good idea to be evaluating his actions and habitual patterns of behavior towards you and how it is making you feel. We aren’t savage animals, we can make choices and boundaries for ourselves out of love, consideration, and re…

I’m really glad this meant something to you! So I was trying to wean myself off for a while but I deactivated my accounts in March. I’ve felt amazing and more grounded since. I’ve been in your shoes with re-downloading before and my only advice is to go all in and actually delete the accounts, if you are serious about it. I deleted my instagram with over 900 followers, not just deactivated. That keeps you from being able to redownload, but deactivate is a good start too) With all of my alone tim…

Hi! I’m in the same boat you’re in but maybe further down my journey. I had a deeply traumatic and jarring experience in my early teens that led me to lose my sense of self for years. My real personality was gone, hidden under different phases of facades. I cycled through bad friend groups and influences and tried to be promiscuous with men I didn’t care about at all because I thought I was supposed to. Well, I’ve pared down my social circle, deleted social media, been celibate (emotionally and …

Can’t agree with this more. We are not enemies as much as we think we are. Yes, there are liberal women who are misogynistic, judgmental, and hypocritical (same for RPW!!) but it’s not the majority or the rule. Don’t isolate yourself from other women before you know the real story, a lot of the time it’s all in your head. Also: the default narratives you will assume people want to push on you are most of the time just THEM living THEIR truth and best life. It’s easy to misconstrue that as them w…

I understand where you would interpret that from your mother, but I don’t think that she necessarily is trying to put down the other traits that you mention (of course this is my assumption & I don’t know her or you personally) and rather the narrative she is pushing is less about demonizing femininity and more about trying to make sure she raises a daughter who can be self sufficient. Regardless of who you are, it is imperative to have an education and job and life experience to fall back on in…
