Prolonged eye contact. Just being a little flirty by joking around. Or if he mentions a place say you’ve never been there and really wanna go. Either he takes the bait or he doesn’t because he’s not taking initiative or doesn’t want to date at work. I don’t recommend dating at your job if this is a place you’re serious about. But I’m sure you already know that. A work crush can keep your mind elsewhere when you want to focus on your career. I say shut that off in your mind as an option. Even if …

Okay ladies these men have created a SUPER virus! No longer do we have to worry about a walking date, we are now stagnant. Beware of the STANDING DATE

I’m tired of people acting like it’s OK to be friends with your ex or keep them added on social media. I was talking about this with some of my female coworkers and they said they’d be OK if their boyfriend had some exes added. What’s funny is that these people end up having problems later on for the same issue because they decided to act like they’re cool about it. Or I found that they try to say they’re cool with their significant other having exes added because they want to have their own ex …

I have bent over to fit into a guys lifestyle of fwb. For what? It’s not what I wanted but I was like well I want romantic company and it’s not often I find someone I’m into. It’s so much better to just not. It took me going through bullshit to find out

We had just started dating officially (bf/gf) and we’re at a theme park. He opens his phone to take a picture of us on Snapchat and I see he still has tinder so I ask him about it. He said he didn’t feel like he needed to delete it why am I being like this I don’t need to get rid of it. Defending it hardcore. Meanwhile I’m all calm. But I just stop talking to him for a minute cause I’m hurt. It’s night time and he starts walking ahead of me then so fast I can’t keep up then disappears into the d…

Hey guys I feel like a reverted back to being a pickmesha. I asked a guy for a title even though he wanted to take it slow and rightfully so, we haven’t seen each other that long he said he wanted to get to know each other more. I wish I didn’t throw my standards out suddenly. Now I don’t know how to bounce back with this dynamic where he knows I was ready. I let myself get overwhelming and demanding of him being bf material and it think this can be too much for men. I’m glad I’m more self aware…

I feel my expectations are always let down when I go on and date. We aren’t clicking the right way or their humor doesn’t match mine or they could be attractive only if they followed a skin care routine. Finding the right guy... This is gonna be a while.

I’ve changed my mind I just went on a date and he has yet to ask me if I got home safe and I’m fcking annoyed now. We did have a few beers after all. I’m living your situation and I now strongly agree that they should ask HA
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy11/04/21 12:37 PM
3

I think it’s a silly question cause let’s face it I go plenty of places without anyone to ask me if I got home fine and for my almost decade of driving I always have. But I do think it’s sweet to ask and almost just common courtesy like saying “bless you” when someone sneezes.I think it’s also a nice follow up to a date to not instead just not text them after the whole date went down. So I guess I’d be a little judgmental.

Guys it took me a second, it really did. But I’ve suddenly made it to a place of more indifference with men. I’m not obsessing, I’m not wanting them soo bad cause they’re attractive. I’m even at a point where I’m more hesitant as to if I want a relationship. Is there a dude out there I want to deal with right now ? She(along with him) seemed to downplay the incident as an unfortunate situation that they moved on from. I wonder if she’s being so light about it because she’s worried about what people would think if they knew more. The way Quavo stood there while she was on the floor sickens me.

My mom was a SAHM. I never wanted to be one. I could tell she was searching for purpose. Not that a career should be where you get life’s purpose from but working at something outside yourself means something. Something you’re passionate about and contributing to. I think you feel better making and spending your own money. After divorce she’s been searching for her place in life, what job she should get with little experience. I just want to say that I’m really in a good place right now. I feel like I’ve definitely let go of my obsession of men and longinggg for my soulmate and stopped wasting time on dating apps. My time is taken up with work, going out with friends, exercise, and volunteering. I’ve deleted all apps except one that I really don’t use and don’t really have time for. He's got no other options. No other girls will give him the time of day so he has to reach out to exes. Men will stick with a girl throughout prison then dip on her once they're out cause they want someone whos there for them. It's either that person or no one.

I’m not abstinent but I’d say just own it with confidence. Some people, once they feel comfortable with you may innocently question it because they wanna know more and are genuinely curious. Like “wow I fuck like a rabbit how could she wait til marriage”. They genuinely won’t get it lol. You may feel defensive or like theyre questioning your morals, but I’m sure they’re just curious. Just give a short explanation, “I’d prefer to wait until marriage because ________. That’s just my preference. “ …

I understand that FDS doesn’t advocate for sharing past traumas and what not with men when you get to know them. And I agree that women shouldn’t rely on a man to heal past traumas. I saw this as an example of a man who went out of his way to make his gf feel better and tended to her emotional needs. I’m not pushing for anyone to spill their negative past experiences on to anyone or depend on a man. I definitely don’t think her bf is a solution to her problem but saw it more as support and hopef…

HVM does not have to do with how you look. You can’t help that. However you should be well put together in areas you can control. Hair, facial hair, nose hair tamed , unibrow gone, wash yo face, deodorant, acne control, tasteful clothes. You can’t expect a HVW unless you match that energy

I agree that you shouldn’t bring it up because then he may just go along with without really wanting it. I’d also beware of telling him you are done with the relationship because he isn’t committing unless you actually intend on ending it for good.Because then he’s just gonna ask you to be his gf to keep you. He must feel like he wants to keep his options open just in case. I say you start seeing other men so you don’t feel so attached this this guy who may not commit. I’m sure if he wants you a…

This was brought up because a coworker’s bf got a happy birthday message from a past hookup and they chatted a bit. The girl asked him how’s he’s doing and how their relationship is going and said they’re so cute together. Ick. She felt uncomfortable but said she didn’t want to seem like she’s crazy. I’m like... that’s valid! People acting like they’re cool with it just run into problems down the road!

How do you guys feel about your partner talking to someone from their past? An ex or a hookup? I have a zero tolerance policy. Even if it’s a seemingly casual exchange. Like I would get real heated if that happened. My coworker made it like I’m crazy for being this intense about it. I break connections from anyone in my past especially once I get into a relationship I don’t chat with these people and I expect that of a partner. I don’t get the point , let them go.

I don’t like men who have a bunch of selfies or seem really into social media. Those are usually men with ego and is a huge turn off. I’m usually attracted to guy them seem off the grid& don’t really ever use social media. I feel like they are more likely to settle down. Vain guys seem like they are just dtf or all about how y’all look together(arm candy), not how y’all connect.

Ick. My exes mom was like this. She had 4 boys that all got into lots of trouble but she always supported them and helped them out. Cleaned out one of their meth houses for them so he wouldn’t get caught. She was actually a great mom but too over protective and over barring. Maybe if she discipled them instead of helping them they wouldn’t be fighting or in trouble with the law. I can’t be with a mamas boy again!

I don’t get how people do this shit 😫.i had some friends like that. I always pay people back ASAP (if I’m in a situation that I had to borrow from them like a food place that takes cash only and I have no cash). I don’t ask to borrow money. My friend was asking for money to pay rent and I saw him smoking bud that month. Like dude if you need $ for RENT you shouldn’t be buying anything else🙄. You’re exactly right. & I have been giving passes for hot LVM just so I can go out on a date. Thinking it’ll be fun even though it doesn’t lead to anything. But it’s not worth it in the end, it just drains my energy!

I felt so bad cutting him off cause of his love bombing. Lol. He was invested in me, and gave me attention I’ll give him that. Too much attention though, I didn’t want it. He sent me like 2 snapchats blowing me kisses 🤢

Basically don’t overlook FDS just cause you want companionship cause then that companionship will SUCK lol

F24 & M23 So I made my way across the warning signs with this man, I was fully aware at the time. I overlooked FDS and went for it cause I wanted a guy around. A mistake! First date we walk our dogs in this cute area. He word vomits to me all his issues, ALREADY tells me how his family was murdered by his mentally ill sibling, how he doesn’t have a job and like 5 different career paths he’s interested in?? Comedian, writer, actor, ect. Wtf. Felt like a therapist. I saw some signs through messagi…

Why can’t they step up like that in other aspects of life 😫. Weird that he’d do anything for the grand child but he was incompetent with his exes .

Oh I got a few things to tell let me just take a sec to type it up 😂
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/07/20 10:17 PM

Beware- my exes dad would do stuff like this. He was good with crafting stuff and would do it for my exes kid. He was a great grandpa but when dating he had LVM tendencies. So what I see from this is he’s is a HVG ... High value grandpa 😂. Not sure about how he is with the ladies yet
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/07/20 09:40 PM

He had the nerve to say this. I always thought it was kinda ballsy for teachers to OLD cause they could get exposed/ embarrassed easily.

Stop being so real with this 😭

Y’all I recently dated(like 5 dates) a guy who’s family was murdered a few years ago and he only went to therapy once. You can guess how that went 👁👄👁.

I would pay more rent and utilities because my ex bf made less and when tax refund came back he got a motorcycle instead of maybe offering to cover the expenses he couldn’t before. He had barley a savings before the refund for him or his kid, I was paying more rent on an apartment for all of us, and his cars sometimes had problems he may need that money to fix it with ... and he gets a motorcycle. Fuckkk that

I hate him. Take the trash out. Block him. He doesn’t see your value

Thank you guys. So an update is I sent a text like the one you said and then blocked him. Giving myself leeway for my first time cutting a guy off. I also have this fear that a guy will come looking for me if I don’t say anything before ghosting. (He was love bombing me so I feel like these guys may do extreme shit like that) . Thanks again

I just went on my first date since being single. Omfg he was terrible at kissing , he was sucking my tongue like I was getting an exorcism and he kept bringing up getting a fucking motel. He’d not really listen to me and interject to say “have I told you how pretty you are” or “I wanna makeout”. Ok are we in middle school? I feel weird blocking guys without a word though! Like I’m worried we’ll run into each other and also part of me feels bad?

This was a practice round, now you know better for next time ;)! You really gotta carry yourself like you’re hot shit (which you are). That is a tough situation that so many of us get dragged into 😩

This is so sad I want to die watching this. So many women force men into marriage or kids and then when they get it, they complain about the men not being all in. I have a coworker doing it now. It's so sad ugh

I think to myself... I'm a HVW so there must be someone like me, a HVM, on dating apps too. But man it must be 1 in 200 and never the ones I was interested in.

I get noticed by men more when I have on makeup and a decent outfit. And I'd say I look good without makeup too... I'm not looking like a different being with makeup. And if I add red lipstick to my makeup routine, heads will literally turn. But with no makeup it's not the same. Men must see done up makeup as a female mating call.

I used to be friends with guys. I think being friends with a group of guys at work made me feel like the HBIC. I'm sure it was intimidating to other female coworkers. I was better friends with one dude (No emotional or physical boundaries ever crossed) and just ended up hanging with our coworkers who were his friends. One or two of the guys did flirt with me though and I brushed it off. TBH it was kind of a confidence booster to know a dude was into me even though I didn't want him...it was so e…

When older men start dating girls under 21 I just can't. Like you can't even legally share a drink with this girl....
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy25/05/20 01:21 AM

I can't with JB ughhhhh! By the time you're married I would think you'd be past feeling like you're bothering the other person. You should be comfortable :)

Yea that's uncomfortable that he does that so early like it's love bombing. Like you're his gf already. I don't think it needs a date cancelation, but I don't think if it makes you uncomfortable it's important you lay down that boundary

Not romanticizing men. I'm picky, so when I see a man whos my type physically I get too excited. And ignore some of what I learned. Gotta make sure these guys are HVM. Gotta stay strong against the handsome fuckboys! Also the 3 month no sex will be new to me but im excited to try.

I just deleted Tinder. He unmatched me before we had a convo and my ego was bruised ...by a guy I never talked to. So I gotta step back and work on not romanticizing men.

I recently joined this group and I'm so into everything about it. But I matched with a guy on Tinder who's exactly my type and all of a sudden I'm ready to throw everything I thought out the window and revert back to a pickmeisha. I'm like, okay if he doesn't message me first, I'm gonna start the convo. Why am I like this? Where is my strength! I romanticize people before even talking to them! So bad

Sounds like the stigma of being a single mom isn’t even overlooked by a SINGLE DAD. Sorry you gotta go through this. Some HV dad out there won’t put your though that

Texting is pretty boring. I overthink responses too. I say text me mostly to make plans or give me a call that’s gonna wrap up on a good note... 20 min tops. No dragging along

I really think dating single dads will be so much better. They are more likely to date seriously and understand what having a child is like.

It’s a little much. This sounds like stuff I’d hear from a man who is an extreme momma’s boy to a fault . How’s his relationship with her? he’s also giving some overly submissive vibes.

Last time I was single I was letting men lead me to sex and convincing myself it was okay that these men I’d like to date were instead wanting just sex. It wasn’t what I actually wanted . I wanted him to ask me out and ya to become something! Not send nudes all day. but I did it anyways. What a waste of time and how naive. This time around will be way different

ly Give Award share Report My exes mom wasn't terrible but she was passive-aggressive sometimes and he never set boundaries and wouldn't ever call her out. It was annoying wtf. No protection from her behavior.

One girl said she uses coffee type dates as the pre-date and I like that idea. And when you're there you communicate your standards so if you go on a date again it better be more than coffee and up to standard

Thank you! I think some people didn't understand my question, but you got it spot on. This was about turning down sexual advances of a guy I still have interest in. I just didn't know what phrases to say exactly to show that I'm still interested. My concern of seeming vanilla is silly though, I'll forget that. Thanks for the advice.

I broke up with my bf of 2 1/2 years and he and his kid moved out. I felt like I was more motivated in life than him and that he was not hustling to get what he wants. I made twice his pay I’m 24 he’s 28. Sometimes I’d split on food with him and I hated it :/. Him being a beta male (low value male?I’m new) just affected a lot of things. Im sad about it though. It’s a month later still feeling the heart break. I need someone on my level and I’m trying not to date until I can present my best self …

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
