If you want/need authentic friendships you must be authentic yourself and accept the fact that most people are not. That means quality over quantity. Accept that you will be alone for the time being. Work on yourself [redpill-style] and work on yourself in areas where you think you're not being authentic. When you are able to be your authentic self, unencumbered by emotional issues based on self-knowledge, you will attract like-minded people. This takes time though, but in my opinion it's one of…

If anything, you've gained some insight in to your own functioning, and that of others' perception and how to change that perception. What vulnerability in general is concerned, there are a number of options to choose from: You don't concern yourself about what the opinion of strangers of you is. You realise that within your line of work it's beneficial to be approachable to people. Being vulnerable, imo, is being like an open window. People can throw rocks through the window, but it won't break…

Sorry, didn't see the post you responded to. A private bloodtest that tests for cholesterol, liver values, inflammation markers, kidney values, bloodsugar and triglycerides is about €85. Add test, estrogen and thyroid your looking at €140 or so. Too much for me. Without a medical reason my doctor won't give me a test through healthcare. Which is stupid ofcourse because you could see it as a preventative measure.

Blackmarket price is 15 dollar for 25 tablets @ 50mg, so that's a 100 days worth. Cheap to me!

No, not prescribed. Can't do bloodtests since I already started and they're too expensive here [Netherlands] without a medical indication.

Clomid modulates estrogen receptors in such a way that it tricks the body in producing extra test because the body "thinks" there's more estrogen due to the modulation, without there actually being more estrogen. The dose, 12.5mg, per day is high enough to cause this effect but not high enough to cause the side effects commonly attributed to Clomid. I've opted for this kind of therapy because I don't want to mess with exogenous hormones again.

If you're introverted you probably overthink everything and anything, so you also probably know the answer to your question. So yeah, stop being a pussy.

I've started a low dose, 12.5mg ED, Clomid programme since december last year to increase natural T-levels because at 43 I thought it could use a boost. No bloodtests but there are a few tell tale signs that it's working; fuller testes, more ejaculate and some gains in the gym. No side effects at this dose and it's cheap, so worth considering in my book.

It's a generalisation and as such falls short of what you might experience in real life with masculine women. It comes down to what you prefer and in this case I prefer a woman to be on the masculine side of femininity. It is necessary to break a vicious cycle by thinking in black and white terms, just to get your thoughtprocesses to turn, but in reality life is mostly made up out of shades of grey. Yes, there are currents of predisposition coursing through male and female behaviour which are ap…

That's a large dose which may account for the succes of the treatment. Do you have any moodswings? I did a cycle of clomid in order to boost test a while ago, but I dosed it low due to reports on the web indicating that low doses, <10mg, were sufficient. It wasn't.

The thing is that taking that chance is a big one; you're dealing with another person and the possibilities of fucking that person up are nigh endless. If one is one the fence about having children, say 50/50, then when the right woman comes along it's a chance worth taking. But if you're like me and know that fatherhood wouldn't end well for me and the child taking a chance is asking for trouble. I do believe though that having children is an essential life experience but it's one I deprive mys…

If you are in a deep depression the only thing that will help is time or anti-depressives. If the depression is not deep but still present, imo, you can alleviate it by actively willing to end the depression. Depression is the result of altered brain chemistry and you can consciously alter brain chemistry by envoking positive thoughts and behaviour. I know how it sounds, but it worked for me. Spend the next 20 minutes on just one thought: I DON'T WANT TO BE DEPRESSED ANYMORE. When you get sidetr…

You can't protect her from her emotions, and you're not obligated to do so, not in this situation. You can acknowledge her sadness and indicate that you'd prefer it was different but ultimately you can't change the situation. Accept that as-is and move on. Rip the band-aid off quickly.

So because this is /mensrights you can't say anything positive about women?
/r/MensRights05/04/11 10:43 PM

Women have a larger social safety net, and they'll ask for help sooner than most men.
