There is no such thing as an objective living standard. Quality of life is subjective and has to do very much with how society treats you. Ironically, the metrics that you are probably referring to as objectively higher living standards were most likely identified as so by men. Men have that tendency, to claim objectivity where it doesn't exist to perpetuate their power. By all means, prove me wrong, show me these metrics you speak of. I haven't answered that because it's bullshit. Men have it w…

I do deny that that is an incentive. I do not believe things for social gain, I believe things because they are right. And of course men are evil. No one man has the ability to destroy the patriarchy, that's why we must work together and stand in solidarity with the women who are most affected by patriarchy.

A few questions for self-reflection: Are women with body hair (e.g., armpit) viewed negatively in our society? Can women walk around without a shirt on? Are women sexualized/objectified (this relates to not being able to walk around without a shirt on)? These are a few examples of how patriarchy manifests. Obviously women are oppressed in more severe and subtle ways, but I use these as examples because their answers are so salient. As for your assumption that gender fits in two discrete boxes na…

Wow look at you go telling me why I believe things. Unfortunately you are wrong, I don't say these things to signal virtue or look morally superior. If I look morally superior for accepting the way society is built, it's not too look morally superior, it's because it IS morally superior, because patriarchy is evil, and I am against ALL forms of oppression. Why would I try to signal virtue on Reddit? hahaha you are so silly.

I'm male so if it's sexist, I'm sexist against myself I guess? But it's definitely not sexist to describe how society is built.

I agree that power corrupts anyone. But power itself is held up by patriarchy, racism, capitalism, etc... To rid of power forever, these systems must be resisted and eventually replaced. These are the actions that will rid of boys AND girls being killed for no reason. Feminism is a struggle for the complete abolishment of gender, as a necessary component of abolishing power in general. We recognize gender roles were created to ensure the domination of males; that's what patriarchy is.

It means nothing to him, but it means everything to the people trying to stop the systematic burning of people like him.

Would capitalism (and CEOs) be able to exist without patriarchy? Nope. So your hypothetical of a woman CEO is really still rooted in patriarchy. Kind of ironic you telling me to broaden my perspective actually.

I'm not against more media coverage of something that clearly illustrates the effects of power upheld by patriarchy. But that guy is just looking at who is being kidnapped and saying: "Look! Bad things happen to men too!" All the while, ignoring the reason why those bad things are happening, which, is in large part caused by power upheld through patriarchal systems. If he really cared about those boys being kidnapped, his goal would be to destroy patriarchy. But he'd rather use those kids for hi…

And then all of this goes back to the militant group of women who started all the kidnapping! I get it now! That logic is too stronk. Even when trying to make a case for for men's rights these guys use a case of men oppressing people

This subreddit seems like one for guys who are desperate to get laid and resort to emotional abuse to achieve orgasm. This is coming from a man btw. A man who is in a sex every day type of relationship with no emotional abuse. But ya'll wouldn't know a man if you saw one.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
