Part of the issue as well is that I'm in my 30s and a lot of guys in my age bracket have started to lose their hair. Only the gay men have done something about this to prevent it, however. The straight guys just don't care, and will happily lose it and then shave their heads bald.

With exactly two exceptions, the only men I know with cuts like that are gay. The two exceptions have no problems getting women. By the way, if you think guy #2 is a male model, you're probably smoking something.

Good for them! Just browsed it and can find nothing at all wrong with that sub. A bit delusional that you can "vet" your way out of the problem of men treating women like personal servants after they have children, but overall pretty good stuff.

Okay so here are some examples of good hairstyles on a dude. It's usually gay men that rock this kind of hair though, sadly: https://i.pinimg.com/736x/97/16/3a/97163a44f9e78f4b1bfbf40d81409b10.jpg https://i.pinimg.com/236x/36/c8/24/36c8246e9840e39f68b1608cd951f4dd--men-hair-hair-styles.jpg https://www.pinterest.ca/pin/256142297547905694/ https://ath2.unileverservices.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2020/04/black-mens-hairstyles-for-2020.jpg

How can you not when the language they use is so hateful and inflammatory? I don't think the responsibility is on women to not interpret "you're horrible and should have your rights taken away" as misogynistic.

Funny, I don't see an entire website dedicated to "killallmen." Yet there are least two incels.___ websites for men to interact with one another socially, about how much they hate women and want to enslave them. Not even counting all of the RP channels that call women names like 304 and disparage single moms. Gonna have to disagree with you there, based on the objective facts.

Young men are to blame in other ways. They join incel movements and say horrendous things about women all over the internet and YouTube. As if women don't also have the internet and can't see what they are saying. I've had multiple young women say to me online that if this is what is out there, they'd prefer cats or to date other women instead. I think this generation of young men is really socially inept from being shut-ins all the time and doesn't understand optics, like, at all.

Not from what I have seen. Good haircuts are way more common on gay men than straight ones. Gay men understand that other men are visual. Straight men don't seem to get that women are also visual.

I mean, your friend is right, but the caveat is that we are more likely to be poly or childfree. So if strict monogamous marriage and kids is what you want, it's a shallower pool in that regard. I support intactivism, I've never cared about a man's height, I like it when a dude is sensitive or shows his emotions I don't expect him to be emotionally strong or macho all the time as I liken this to toxic masculinity. I pay for myself most of the time when we go out, pay half of the bulls and rent. …

There is lots you can do to improve your looks outside of the kitchen (more important than the gym). Decent hair/a good haircut, good style. I know I myself when I was younger used to check out guys because they were rocking that early '2000s Strokes look I found so delicious.

No, you also need emotional intelligence. Nick Fuentes is a good-looking guy and he's still an incel who has never has sex. Because he's a piece of shit who hates women and minorities. Andrew Anglin used to be able to get girlfriends. Then he became a white nationalist, and he's been an incel, self-described, ever since.

I spent ten years in a small town of 25,000, couldn't pay me to go back to one. My boyfriend grew up in one too and he also would never live in one again, says people made racist comments all the time thinking he'd agree with them just because he's white. Nice assumptions though 😊

Are you unironically disputing this? If you could point to the countryside mecca of women under 30, if even one such location exists, I would sure love to see it.

It helps to actually read the article. In this case, it's not actual romantic success, but rather, the men's perception of their romantic success that influenced their reported attitudes.

Nowhere does it state that they ask these men if they are misogynists, nor that they were told why they were being asked about their sociosexual attitudes and fiscal spending views. Unfortunately, it's a reading comprehension issue, on your part.

Online dating is not the only way to date. The point was meant to illustrate that even in an environment that heavily disadvantages males, only a slight majority are unsatisfied. If you include all contexts and actually reference the statistics, most men are in relationships, per their own self-reporting. There are not a small number of "chads" monopolizing all the women. There is literally no evidence for this anywhere. Go outside. Touch grass.

He has set his priorities, and that's okay. But you don't get to whine about involuntary status when you are making the voluntary decision to prioritize the pursuit of money, or whatever else a man prizes more. There is no such thing as an incel. They are all volcels. He even says in his post that he could have lost his virginity, but chose not to.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/22 05:01 PM

Look, there is really no such thing as an incel. You are all volcels. Even in your post you stipulate you could have lost your virginity 10 years ago, but chose not to. It's not dissimilar to the incels who call whole groups of women unf__kable based on their race, age, the fact that they've had children, and their BMI. Of course they can have whatever standards they want to, but do not get to cry that they want a pity party thrown for them because the women they could have had sex with don't me…

A lot less money with a much lower cost of living. Those two are usually commensurate. Tech also pays quite well in New York, which has a sex ratio of 95, considerably better than the demographics where he currently lives, but cost of living is similarly high.

It is again a choice that you have made to identify with a group of males that refer to women as "foids, "holes," and have committed at least ten terrorist acts. You could simply say you're a virgin, rather than referring to yourself as an incel given the implications associated with that group. Similarly, it is also a choice to work in an industry that skews heavily male while also living in a state that skews heavily male: https://worldpopulationreview.com/state-rankings/sex-ratio-by-state Now…

How would you explain the plasticity of men's tendencies with the study though? Where those who were led to believe they had more interested prospects endorsed different viewpoints than those men who were led to believe they had fewer prospects? It's not really "liberals good conservatives bad" so much as an explanation of male psyche, the latest in a pile of research pointing to the fact that wherever possible they prefer to delay monogamy and practise soft polygamy, or "sow their wild oats" be…

So I'm assuming it's because you identify as incel that you've chosen to speak on their behalf and in their defense? a small percentage highly attractive men monopolize multiple women. Unfortunately, there is no supporting evidence for this. The data leans the other way, in fact. 42% of men report that they are satisfied with the number of matches they receive online, and this is in an environment which skews heavily male. Where "soft polygamy" happens, it tends to do so because of the abundance…

In your opinion, is endorsing child rape and female slavery, which incels routinely do, not amoral and horrific? If you're in a region with few women, moving would be a lot more conducive to changing your circumstances than sitting online for 18 hours a day and talking about your god-given right to rape "lolis" and "Stacey's." Incels refuse to take any responsibility for themselves and are inherently unsympathetic as a result.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/22 03:49 PM

I personally have never had a guy even ask this question or initiate this conversation so I assume I have simply never been attracted to the type of guys who care about this stuff or think a lot about it. Do I think highly of them? Not really but then I've already been voting with my feet thus far so it's a moot point. They can care about what they want and be hypocrites if they like. Over there. Away from me.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/22 03:24 PM

This is the answer.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/22 03:19 PM

How do you suppose all young men can have a girlfriend if there are fewer young women than young men in a guy's local region, the sex ratio at birth favours males by 5%, and in what way is that liberalism's fault? I mean, if anything, UBI would help these neets who don't want to work.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/22 02:51 PM

The specific examples cited were support of an increase in the minimum wage as well as expansion of healthcare. General fiscal liberal policy endorsements I would assume.

He wasn't rejected by 90% of the women he approached sexually, just romantically, because of his unfortunate economic situation in his 20s and the dank basement he lived in for 4 years.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/22 01:40 PM
1

Well, you're the one making the assumption that all of these men who are liberal and sexually successful are "really" conservatives. There's no data to support this, however. The huge margins by which liberal representatives win reliably liberal-voting districts would not be possible without the active participation of the men in these regions as well, even taking sex ratios into account. The reality is, these are the men's values. The study just posits where these positions come from.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/22 01:01 PM

I personally wouldn't consider him that, but there is evidence to suggest he himself would: https://www.livescience.com/55892-how-gender-ratio-affects-marriage-rates.html
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/22 12:41 PM

Men who can't hide their conservativism by contrast do not know how to "play the game," they are socially inept. Which would lead to lack of romantic success. So again does not dispute the findings.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/22 12:21 PM
1

By perceived options.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/22 12:20 PM
8

You disagree even though there is is data proving that incels are more common where local sex ratios skew more heavily male that is referenced here?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/22 12:08 PM
2

In fairness, that doesn't necessarily prove or disprove romantic success. A man could have struggled to find one interested party, developed a negative attitude toward casual sex, and then hurriedly locked down the first woman he could get to say yes to dating him as a result.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/22 12:06 PM
1

Also, a lot of these "liberal" men have only adopted that identity in order to attract women. Okay, fair enough, but that's not inconsistent with the study's findings either, though. It indicates that conservative attitudes in men are both a result of and a cause of male lack of romantic success.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/22 12:04 PM

The notion that it's falling on neat gender lines who supports him and who doesn't is also just your opinion. I think it's less a matter of gender and more a matter of who is actually romantically and socially successful, and who is not. The overwhelmingly hypocritical Kevin Samuels who was twice-divorced and who was a deadbeat father had no business giving anyone else life advice while he stood there as a case-in-point example of why women initiate divorce more often than men, who violated his marriage vows, could not keep a woman, was a drug user and ultimately died alone. It's not for no reason women are laughing that he's dead. He was a garbage person and the world is literally a better place for him not being in it.
