Being shy isn't as much the issue as what you said in your last sentence: I don't wanna come off too direct as to seem desperate, or creepy, because we hardly know each other. Assume attraction and move forward. Be outcome independent. These three things are the mantras of the subreddit for a reason.

I meant it only as an act of perspective and in relationship to the OP's seemingly low self-confidence. To someone with solid inner game, who the girl is doesn't matter.

TAs are anecdotally not the best targets. They are exposed to a lot of people and I've heard uncountable stories of some shy little freshman asking them out. I'm not saying it's impossible. Reading your post, it seems like you'll need better inner game before you do any approaching. Also, there's no timing to approaches. Just do it.

What seddit provides is a general outline. As one expands as a PUA they realize that there are many more ways to be attractive than just what is listed here. Many of the tips are for AFCs who have no real experience with PUA theory. Seddit offers a means of expansion.

A good way to deal with number rejection is not giving a fuck. I once had a date planned a few days before I ever had her phone number. I only ever asked once, she said no, I moved on and suddenly she gave it to me.

Just say, 'No problem' and move on. It's her loss and you don't need to beat around the bush afterwards.

Just talk to people, be interested even if they're a guy. I've gotten many good bros this way.

It was a cross post from r/TwoXChromosomes. It was an attack on our community and a different, creepy situation.

It seems like seduction just greatly increases your options if anything, and really changes you into the best version of yourself. Cheers on the anniversary!

Thanks for this! I was trying to articulate it but failed, your comment summed it up perfectly.

The thing about seddit is there's a lot of advice. It's hard to sift through it all when you still have your training wheels on or are learning. What I've come to learn the 80/20 rule to be is that you go for women who you can put in 20% of the effort and get 80% of the results. Personally that doesn't fly with me. Every approach is a learning experience and that means I'm not going to try for a girl I know I could get. I try for someone, some type that I haven't ever tried for. It works well. D…

I know exactly how you feel. It's like I care more about the pick than a long term relationship. That rush from successfully doing it is just so nice that I'd rather keep doing that than settle in with one person. Just keep going about your business. You'll find someone who actually is worth having an LTR with. I don't mean get oneitis for them, but there's nothing wrong with being in an LTR and being happy with it. Keep moving forward.

Are these patterns detailed somewhere? Do you know them personally? It sounds fascinating.

How do you forge those types of word associations? It sounds like a pattern for some sort of magic spell, frankly. Do you know of any sources that explain it better?

Personally I never, ever mention it to anyone. It's just not a good idea, especially with close friends because they have a tendency to get harassing and jealous about it.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
