Technically what you say is true, and also violence in media fuels aggression. It can push a person who is predisposed to violent acts (but mostly benign) to actually committing violence. I know when I played GTA, I felt a lot of aggression just afterward, so I stopped playing. There is also plenty of research on the subject. Ah, there's a specific situation. If one party in the exchange is initially uncomfortable by the other's presence, and thus makes other party uncomfortable, I'd suggest they should part ways, or have a light chat to raise both of their comfort levels. However, catcalling (etc) doesn't usually result in both parties being uncomfortable -- only one -- and I believe that is why the conversation's topic was about the recipient's (woman's) comfort level, and the disregard for it [by men].

None of that is logic, it's inane! No statement should indicate that men and women should act differently or have different personalities. The ONLY difference between men and women is their bodies; one has a penis, and one has a vagina.
