3	How can I learn to be as witty in person as I am in text? Set a time limit when texting/chatting. Being witty is all about associations, and like you said, when you're face to face you don't have time to think through your response. The solution is, of course, to speed up. Someone on seddit once mentioned the "dictionary game" for working on wittiness. You open the dictionary to a random page, look at a word, and say the first things you can think of.
