Early incel nerd, done similar. It fills a physical need, not a spiritual one. And that is really not fulfilling. Edit: grammar. Early incel, meaning was one when young.

Excellent legal advice. This shall pass, if you let it pass. Don’t lose your cool, make a promise to yourself, to not lose your cool. It might make you lose control. Why did this happen, because you didn’t really know her. And other than outmaneuvering her, you really don’t need to know her more now. Think about her occasionally, mourn the loss, but don’t spend too much time dwelling on her. Best revenge is moving on and living well. This is advice I give to both men and women. Don’t get pilled.…

I explained to my kids what I thought was wrong with their parents, reminding them they were free to draw their own conclusions, as I was not impartial. I also allowed them to lie, as my ex wanted them to take sides. I expected them to show a modicum of respect to their parents. If I say something out of line, I get a response from them, same happens to my ex. I encourage them to have relationship with my ex, unlike her. So far, so good.

That’s one side of the situation only. One important side nevertheless, but not the only one. I was severely abused. Knowing how to fight was not the issue. I still feel guilty over something that wasn’t my fault. Knowledge, and support are also important. Many men for example are uncomfortable with teaching their daughters about predators. I tell my siblings “remember how dumb we were growing up?”. That’s something I tried to fix with my kids.

I encourage my kids to have a good relationship with my ex, they are a good influence on her. But they are encouraged to set up healthy boundaries to not get involved in anybody’s drama.

I did most of the parenting of my daughters, you have to really widen your perspectives when trying to explain womanhood to a young girl, or boy. What I have noticed is a big increase in propaganda disseminating hate and stupidity. Divide and conquer.

I’m old, I have been married most of my life, not in a hurry. Truth is for me at least marriage is a complicated contract that doesn’t ensure a relationship will last. Let’s see.

My first divorce I missed her for so long. We even sort of remained friends. My second divorce, it’s about moving on. Edit: grammar. I tell my kids I still miss her sometimes, and they roll their eyes at me and tell me there is something wrong with me, lol. See the problem with raising kids to think independently, 😂. I used to think life would be simple and straightforward, nope. You try to simplify it. And even when you move on, and love someone else. Move on.

You have daughters? My own told me I should have divorced years before. My kids know me and my ex better than anyone so far, when I say I miss her, they tell me I was deluded. My ex always wanted back, when we finally divorced she went scorched earth making all our lives worse, she still is mad I don’t talk to her. Life probably would have been better for myself, and my kids if I had divorced earlier. Do I miss her? Yup. Do I regret divorcing her? Nope. Should have done it earlier.

The best advice I got was keep your cool, always. I don’t do revenge for free. The only person I reveal some issues to is to the kids as they will be affected. If ex reveals I might correct. If I share kids, I want the best for my ex. But specially while a divorce is ongoing don’t rock that boat. I just got divorced right now, on one side I wish she doesn’t find someone (different new one), on the practical side a good influence is better than an asshole for the kids.

Beta, alpha, kappa etc. all these descriptions of men and their roles that I have seen so far have been used by insecure men on YouTube trying to appear tough. And although some might be physically tough, their overall behaviour is not tough. Your reaction was normal, your response was normal.

Lol my youth in the comments. Make yourselves financially independent, set up boundaries, I’m told therapy with a good therapist can do wonders. To having friends it takes some time and learning. Same as having girlfriends. With time, dedication and money many can retain their hair, I just shaved.

In these days I find it helps for everyone in the family to have rights and duties. For everyone to pull together. It’s important that everyone gets some time, even if it’s to relax, that includes you, spouse and kids.

I have always spoken very openly to my kids about family issues. Only one has complained, and yet I know it has been good for her to know where we are all standing. I explain my side, they are open to form their own opinions, I know my explanations are not impartial, I encourage them to have a good relationship with my spouse. They are encouraged to pick and choose their battles, if mom asks who the favourite parent is, I don’t care what they answer, because that’s a dumb question. At this momen…

I hated growing up being afraid to take sides, not knowing was happening, or being blamed for everything. I inform my kids as much as possible. Expect them to respect within reason their parents and their siblings. My spouse used to engage in favourite kids and favourite parents. My kids were taught to pick their battles, and since little if mom wanted to be called favourite, the kids were encouraged to avoid stupid fights. I get along with my kids and they try to get along with their mother wit…

When my ex wife of whom I had been divorced over many years ago died, I cried, life goes on, you don’t even talk because life is busy, but at least there was more love than hate after all. Edit: I mentioned it because the amount of sadness was surprising to me.

Ugly guy here, beauty is just part of being attractive. Some people will not date someone unless they are physically attractive, shrug. Mature people tend to look for a group of qualities where beauty probably is one, but should not be the most important.

I find as honest as possible to be my best policy. I explain my views are not impartial, and I try to be unbiased. I try to give the kids as much information as possible for them to take care of themselves, and make better decisions.

It’s not women nature. It’s narcissistic personality both men and women do it. And when our parents are narcissistic we grow up with some tendencies and oblivious to some red flags. Read up on codependency. Because we grow up flawed and tend to gravitate towards these personalities, ending with the conclusion of all “women” or all “men”. Edit: don’t want to sound harsh, just has been a long day so far.

I have had many female friends and friends, not the usual case, everyone is slightly different at least. But there was a subset of my male friends who only had eyes for women like you described, so if you were a guy like that, through that little window they looked through, “all” women were like that.

Easier, to check profile on mobile, yep, good response. I believe both responses add, although yours has more potential to go deeper. To add, when I say I did not read, it’s a qualifier to my response, didn’t want OP to use my opinion as a full response to his more elaborated question, but rather the short one. One of my kids will ask ten to twenty deep questions in a good day, I tend to qualify my responses so they can give weight to them, and specify if it needs more discussion. Sometimes I fo…

I’m not saying I don’t care. There are many levels of discussion for this. If I did not care, I would not put effort to answer the question. And till next week, past Thursday to be more exact, I doubt my brain is in capacity to follow the convoluted thoughts he is expounding. What’s more OP does not have to take my words as gospel, that would be a mistake. I would like OP to consider my opinion and weigh it against his own. Too long didn’t read. Red pill is about being an asshole. As a red piller Ideally you find an asshole woman and try to outasshole each other. In real life you want someone you can be friends with. And in real life moderation is key, you can’t be too nice or too bad. If you are not getting where you need to go, maybe you are going to the wrong place, or are going the wrong road.

Just so you are aware, it seems this was her plan all along. If you dwell on it, it will turn you bitter. Shit happens, move on, it’s unfair, but there is a lot of life beyond this. Plan well. Don’t fall again for this. Don’t cry over spilt milk. Remember the good times even if they were based on lies. I’m looking sideways at you, same situation, worst even. Been there. Divorce and try to do things right. In a restricted way explain some things to the kids, more as they grow up. Don’t forget your roles as a parent, one of them is to set an example. Other roles include disciplining the kids with love and explanations of why. Another important role is to explain and to teach them proper decision making. As a rule of thumb kids will gravitate towards the security and true love you show, your ex partner have an effect yes, but greatly minimized.

Don’t take it personally. I have experience in being needy. Most of times women don’t come back to needy men, they find it unactractive. Not your case, but I want to share the following. My SO mentioned her seasonal plan to abandon the family. Surprised at my unusual lack of reaction she questioned me. Apparently it entertains her when we hurt for her. Yes it hurts, fuck that shit.

A lot of this is insecurity and also projection. There is a possibility that she is cheating or would easily consider it. And to be at the mercy of those doubts, it might be better to move on. Read about codependency, see if anything seems familiar. Try to make yourself independent in thought. If needed use the help of your family, but do not just change masters, become your own master.

Women who come from broken homes seek being beaten up. The best you can do is support from a distance. Anytime I would bail out a girl, I knew I would make fun of her, she somewhat became a little better at least to avoid my jokes at her expense.

I expressed that view in another subreddit forum. Not all but many got really upset. They live in this weird echo chamber where they insult opinions different from their own. Apparently the only truly oppressed are white men, they have these special alternative facts that support their views. In my view anybody can be oppressed it does not matter gender, age, race, weight etc. For some the reason that some women hate men, means all men should hate women.....really? Yes they are some in the women's march slandering people. Should it take away from real concerns? Should we get to slandering too? In every good cause, there are bad people working their angle trying to make a living. Point out the people not the cause. Many are parroting lies told to them as facts. Everybody should listen to both sides of any argument, once you start labeling others with insults, and stop listening to their arguments, you are being used as a tool and are brainwashed, and both sides of the political spectrum are guilty of this. The truth is there is things in common with conservatives and liberals, things like justice, costs, honesty, etc. Yet for political reasons people are being trained to avoid dialogue and meaningful compr…
