My gf has specifically stated, from date 1 to months later, that she was thoroughly impressed that I remembered details about her from first meet.

There was a thread maybe 6 months ago about this, from someone who had met an old man who's wide still glowed when with her husband. The gist was, learn to let her go web when it's hard so that she will want to come back of her own will (nights with friends, visit family, etc.). Maintain your independence.

Exactly. Girl I am currently starting to fall head over heels for with AMAZING qualities that are exactly what I want (and shared interests) blew me off for months after our first meeting in June. I have now learned that she thought I was probably a player (I teased her a bit when she opened the door to sexual innuendoes but it backfired). She had also JUST got back from a year in Brazil and was losing friends because her mindset had changed so much so she was adjusting back to western life. We …

I disagree. People on this subreddit seem to think it's the shit to go out every night, but someone with a good job (like she seems to have) isn't going to be clubbing every night in their hometown (whereas OP was traveling). You could tease about it a little I guess but I wouldn't overdo it. It could, especially with culture clash, seem too offensive/aggressive imo.

not much you can do, no matter what everyone here can tell you. You have to respect their wish, its their home. OP's tips are about making the best of sex at your parents' place if they dont like it but will let you do it. Yours won't. Move out.

at your age, it's fine. I'm 23 and my friends either all live alone or do well but try to spend nights at the girl's place. After college, tbh, it should be a temporary situation until you get a job imo. I moved to my parents' this year for 4 months because I got a new job in their city (college was another city) and was adapting, but anything longer is a game killer imo. Your suggestions are tip top but I don't think they should be seen as a long-term solution.

Dude stop being a pussy. She's pissed because you are not a man because you did not follow up on your word (to setup coffee). You're lucky though, you can always redeem yourself. Call her now, tell et you're going to coffee now, and follow through.

I tried that yesterday. She kept asking me if it was a joke, and at some point i was like "no, it's not... unless you're like 15 and I made a huge mistake" to which she answered 17 (I'm 23). I had a little inside struggle and she looked very uncomfortable (which I commented on) and just bailed. Ouch.

You can't not date yet fall in love. That's terrible. Don't do it. Also, start tying to date. Cue something about hitting the gym and peppers or something.

I agree that's the lesson, but can you really say he wouldn't be phased if he was sitting back home in his small apartment if she had shut him out?

Sure, but I've set up meetings with girls who cancel and re-schedule multiple times. I have to stop trying to see them because they just flake. I guess I'm their back-up they met online or something. It's very annoying. EDIT: After having met them, yes.

yes, doing cocaine on first dates is how you get the quality girls.

"Shy doesn't exist" to "self-fulfilling prophecy" is totally illogical. There is no inner logic to this guy's argument. He breaks it.

If I date a girl, we have sex etc. but she's never mentioned/brought up exclusivity and she doesn't seem to want it, am I supposed to just TELL her I'm dating other girls? I feel as long as I don't deny it (haven't, she hasn't asked), then it's fine. is this lying by omission?

Ugh this reads like the post of an entitled prick who got his first girlfriend and thinks he knows all women. The main points thrown out on seddit are: Be confident. If you can't be because you suck, work on not sucking. Get out there. Actually APPROACH women because that's how seduction works. Women don't approach (or seldom do), men are supposed to, and one step many seem to forget is that one. One of my friends is single and waiting for it to just happen. It won't. Be smart/funny and adapt yo…

So I started dating this girl. And she told me she was vegetarian. Cue 30-60 minutes later: "For a vegetarian you sure seem to like meat" I think that should fit your requirements for a repeat no?

If you want her, take her. If you don't, make it clear. If you're unsure, carry on as is.

Everyone telling you to act, hit on all girls (seduce) and meet them to learn about them is right. You don't learn about them the first night, that's when you make contact. Then you go for drinks alone and get to know them. And at some point one of them will be one of one.

Just fucking kiss her already. You're in her apartment drinking, wtf?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
