So, to reply to both comments: 1st: I would never say anything is too soon, if things happen then they happen! 2nd: I don't really believe in "tricks" of any kind. You just gotta be confident and talk to her. Girls don't particularly respond well to gimmicks because it is so cliche. What they respond well to is a guy that knows what he wants and is willing to respectably go for it. Be yourself, chat her up, and be honest! No tricks in that.

I wouldn't try to create situations like that. Girls catch on real fast and unless it is something really cute I don't think they'll bite.

Find a reason to see her outside of class. Class project partner, studying, etc. Prepare yourself for the conversation and just be honest!

Best part: If it was good, you can repeat in the AM!

To me, there are two routes you could go: 1)Force your parents to sit down with you and talk as a family, as uncomfortable as that might be. 2) Suggest that your parent's relationship is affecting you negatively and bring up the idea of family group therapy. It may sound harsh, but I think the solution to your problem isn't really anything to do with you rather more with your parent's own relationship.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
