If someone comes up to you on the street and says "give me your money" are you not a victim if you assume they will act violently if you do not comply? What if the person says "Hey, can I have a dollar?" is that robbery? If you assume they will act violently if you do not comply, are you not a victim? 1	We need divorce reform. Didn't meant to single out artists/musicians you can fill in the blank with virtually anything from law school, to nursing school, to novelist to entrepreneur. The point being that you can choose to stop pulling your financial weight in a relationship, and if you can convince your spouse to allow you to follow your dreams for a few years, you can then divorce him/her and collect a paycheck for the rest of your life, because you "earned it" by being with him/her. However, my point is that, most (virtually all) of the women that I've known in the last say, 10 years, have this notion that they're going to go back to work. THEY. NEVER. DO. I totally agree with you, but as someone else has stated, pre-nups are not iron-clad and a judge can choose to throw them out. since at present the mother can decide to be a SAHM without the father being able to do anything about it I see it everyday. And I don't disagree that the spouse that stays home with the children should be entitled to monies necessary to continue to raise those children while he/she stay home and continues to do that job. 34	We need divorce reform. the logic says that the woman sacrificed her college and career opportunities in order to stay at home and raise the children or work at a job like waitressing while supporting the husband through college.
