I've never in my life heard a man say or claim that he'd dump his girl if a prettier/hotter one came along lol. In fact looking for an upgrade is a thing another group of people does so much and is so widely known that there's jokes about it.

certainly a possibility.

my opinion of the relationship dynamics is not only based on my immediate circle’s experiences… I mean these girls are used to this treatment for a reason.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/26 04:54 PM

birds of a feather stick together lol. Nearly all my friends and I own properties.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/26 04:35 PM

3 and in their head we’re somewhat sharing the “bills” like utilities and groceries, but realistically I’m paying everything 8/10 times lol. Idk if it’s on purpose but it’s like they just forget to offer to pay. From the relationships in my immediate circle, most of them are like this with rare exceptions where the girl is wealthy and they’re living at her place for example.

Well, it’s great that it works like that in your relationships - it truly gives you a foundation to build together, but it never did in mine. Not that any of my gfs offered to contribute to mortgage (I’d say no even if they did), they just asked if I’m renting and I said it’s mine. The most they’ve asked to contribute is the utility bills.

It goes both ways, love. I can also pretend to be interested in a serious relationship and give you the "it's not you, it's me" speech a couple months later. Was I in a extended hookup? Yes. Were you in a relationship? Sure, I guess. I'm not saying it's right or moral and I'm at an age where I don't want to waste neither women's nor my time, so I only date people I'm seriously interested in, but I can't say that it hasn't happened when I was younger.

The apps are a wasteland. Been in relationships most of my adult life and at any given time I have 4-5 girls basically orbiting me and asking for a shot. On the apps the few matches I got the conversation felt like I had to entertain someone because they're operating from a position of power lol. 28M, deleted the apps in like a week after I got them.

Listen, man. I'll be honest. 18 year old girls are not grown ass people. I'm 28 now and 18-21 year olds seem like literal children to me. It's not pedophilia, but I don't get people who date in that age bracket once they've aged out of it.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/25 09:15 AM

"it will happen when you stop looking" Every single girl I've been serious with the relationship started when I was not actively looking for one. Random grocery store or gym interactions and stuff like that. My ex-girlfriend of 5 years and I started getting to know each other after we got into a fight on a Facebook post in our community. Every time I went out with the intent of meeting/taking to women, it resulted in mostly pointless flirts and just exchanging social media only to have the conve…

I can promise you I've rejected women before sex lol.

Of course, anyone arguing otherwise is delusional. I am objectively more attractive and of better socioeconomic status than all of the women I’ve had long-term relationships or even situationships with. Not that I really mind this. In my experience really attractive girls are way too much trouble.

It’s cope that they’re innocent benevolent beings and can’t possibly help their programming to search for an alpha or whatever your argument was lol. It’s much simpler than that.

That's cope lol. They're just disgusted by bisexual men and that's all to it.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/25 08:10 AM

Yep. I don't really talk about this stuff IRL but I've had multiple women I'm friends with who I know get attention from men and are single for a long time tell me they are lonely and want to be in a relationship but if it's not someone that fully satisfies their needs, they'd rather be single. And I'm gonna be honest - some of the girls' criteria are down to earth but some of them are outright delusional. Like even if such a man existed in their proximity, he'd never give them the time of day l…

Preach. I feel absolutely the same way and I'm doing well financially. The second I feel even the slightest doubt our relationship is driven by money, I'm out.

I'll allow it once because this type of thing happens - I've paid for my exes' car insurance when she was short on money and stuff like that. But the second time it happens is my cue for planning the break-up. Not more than 2 weeks later she's getting a "it's not you, it's me." I'm not financing some girl's lifestyle unless she's my wife and is staying home to watch the kids.

As opposed to 90% of women whose whole personality is "I love travelling and watching Netflix" ?

Sounds about right. I'm 28 and a pretty significant part of my social circle is depressed and anxious as fuck. I'm literally surprised by how much emotional turmoil everybody is going through for objectively very shallow problems. Guys are depressed because they mostly care about girls and majority of them are not having a nice time, girls are depressed because they fail to live up to the unrealistic expectations they had for themselves and their significant other.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/24 07:05 AM

Cognitive dissonance at its finest. A good 95% of the bisexual people on the internet say they prefer men for long term relationships because women are so much more demanding and harder to date.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/11/24 06:41 AM

You could become piss poor drug addicted felon and still see industrial amounts of women circling with interest down below at your feet. That's quite the exaggeration. Around Covid I fell out of shape and I could literally feel my "charm" slipping away. No girls bumping into me randomly, no random smiles on the sub, gf at the time not being jealous lol. Be in great shape, dress well, make good money, be an interesting person and you won't have problems attracting women. We're all playing the sam…
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/24 06:50 PM

I'm not arguing that. It sucks that something that's out of our control is so important but I realize I'm blessed with above average physical attractiveness due to my height and facial features.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/24 06:47 PM

It is, I'm not saying it isn't but 6 feet is probably about the average here.

I'm 6'3. It's not super tall for my part of Europe - most of my friends are of similar height.

Have you left the basement in the last 15 years? 28M, have been pretty much in relationships my whole adult life and had a lot of girls interested in me long before I was financially comfortable. Now that I am, I will admit I'm getting more attention but it attracts a certain type of girls that I don't really want to be around.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/24 11:28 AM

Yeah, no - I'm doing pretty well financially and you won't catch me dead financing some girl's lifestyle unless we are married (which I would never do without a prenup and I would never get married to someone far below my economic class). Hasn't stopped me from getting dates and pretty much being in relationships my whole adult life. In my own personal experience - the type of women that care about your finances are attracted to status more than the potential benefits of it.

Fuck no. I'm a top 0.5% earner and always feel like I'm being taken for a ride if it's expected of me to "provide". I buy expensive gifts every now and then but unless the costs in the relationship are nearly financially proportionate to our incomes, I'm not participating. Honestly hasn't stopped me from getting women, I'm taking a hiatus from dating rn because a 5-year long relationship ended but I've basically been in a relationship with different women my whole adult life and I'm 28 now. Edit…

I don't think the problem is they want the best. I want Prime Megan Fox from Transformers 2007 as well. The difference is I don't think I deserve her and am realistic about my expectations for a partner lol.

I think that Option 2 won't work because women's standards are relative. They compare themselves with all their friends, social media following & etc and want to do marginally better. So if men as a whole improved, women would still be unhappy with pretty much anything besides the top men.
