I'm not...but there's a lot of supporting evidence that they're either real, or a lot closer to reality than whatever the right wing think tanks are dreaming. Am married and no...you're wrong...it's easily the worst financial decision I've made in my life. Had I not been married the house would have been paid off and I'd be looking at retirement in 10 years instead of 20. I save maybe 3-4k in taxes a year...she gets ~20k in support in a typical year...and there's the threat of losing 75% if she decides it's over. No...for a man...if you've got a job...it's easily one of the worst financial moves you can make.

I agree to disagree on the 9 months thing...especially when you factor in federal holidays and holiday breaks three times a year...that...in any other profession is a very lucrative benifit.
