I also endorse this advice haha. There needs to be a base level of attraction, and catching a girl eyeing you a few times is a great sign, but that does not necessarily need to be a prerequisite. Showing that you are interested in who I am as a person and that you are confident with yourself even if you make really silly mistakes right in front of me is two of the most attractive qualities imo.

I'm just going to pipe in here and say that you would not want to even do a short term thing with someone that is so disrespectful that they would say "ew." You are worthy of more than someone putting you down, even if it's a two hour thing lol.

Just keep practicing it my friend. It feels unnatural, but trying to actively work on stuff in your every day (with any random person) will take you very far

To be honest, I'd just fake it until you make it on this one. Practice smiling at random people until it starts to feel normal. It's a great way to connect with people and make their day a little brighter (even if you don't talk to them). But as a woman, I find it terribly off-putting to not receive a smile back. To me that gives me "he's not interested" or "I'm not in a safe environment" vibes. A smile is an invitation or welcome sign. You want someone to feel comfortable talking to you or eyei…
