See, this is why I hate the push for equal outcome. It’s especially worse now with Title IX, colleges have to give out an equal number of scholarships to males and females, which I find completely stupid and unnecessary. A push for equal opportunity is great, but anyone that says that there is a need for equal opportunity is wrong. It’s their decision as a company. I’m not saying that I agree with their decision, but they have every right to do so. I doubt your company is even aware that international Men’s Day exists, and if they do, then they purposely turn a blind eye on it. If they’re going to have no work on International Women’s Day, then they shouldn’t have it on International Men’s Day either.
