I agree. But I would use protection and test regularly. If that's the game he wants to play I'm going to protect myself.

That's not what girls girl is about and your take overall is pretty lame.

You clean the house, buy groceries and cook for him. Plus a full time job covering 30% of the bills. That's almost, if not, 50-50. It's ok if you're his girlfriend but if you really want to look upon marriage be sure your values are on the same page and you're not deluding yourself.

You work full time and you cook for him. Is he a traditional man?

Just leave. Don't do this to yourself. The relationship wasn't even that long for you to put on MORE stress on yourself acting on revenge mode. Leave silently and don't contact him ever again.

Girl it doesn't work like that. It's not the job. Even if you went to church every sunday and teach the bible on wednesday he will still be jealous. Do not quit if it makes you happy, period. It's not your fault.

Don't quit if you don't want to. It's not your fault you're pretty and guys are hinting on you. If he absolutely wants you to quit, he better find the way to make 8k more and give it to you.

Some of the comments were a bit harsh to this very young woman seeking for advice! Congrats on pursuing your dreams and joining the military. All the rest just have one solution, stay true to yourself and your values and you'll be fine! engage with good friends too (yes, even female friends can mess up w your ideals). The right man will come. I assure you!

Judging by your posts you two sound like you hate each other. If he's not open to therapy I don't know how you can fix this situation.

I know! I'm not even aiming for a man to provide me (now) either. But every man that seems to approach me (or my friends in general) won't even offer to pay for a dinner date. Just little details. I spend so much for being a woman and looking good idk if i'm delusional or I just should date older.

A friend of mine had a similar experience last week. She's beautiful and smart. Also a tradicional girlie. The man asked her out and he made her pay for dinner!

Even when going to church men don't seem to be as traditional. Should I search in an older demographic? I'm not desperate, but it would be so much nicer to actually engage w people with similar values :(

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
