I will tell you what someone should have told me (but didn't): find something you love (literally whatever, fishing, lifting, writing...any activity you can do by yourself and is outcome-indipendent, so for ex. not pick-up) and stick with it. Become an expert. Be passionate and do not worry about the money yet. 2	Friends getting jobs at JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs etc and parents want me to do the same. I'm lost in life I have been in a situation similar to yours in my professional life: what I would recommend is not get into banking if you are not 100% committed (and even then the odds of staying in the industry for 2+ years are low).
