Made a dumb f*cking mistake last nightIt's the 'a' that changes things, my guy. It's YOUR usage that makes it derogatory (by your own admission) dehumanizing and homophobic. Like others have said, maybe actually talk to some queer people before forming opinions about them. It's not hard to just treat people like humans deserving of basic decency and respect, it's the same way you want to be treated. | /r/Divorce_Men | 18/12/23 03:15 AM
Made a dumb f*cking mistake last nightYou literally referred to the non-binary person that was hitting on your ex as "a 'they'". That is an incredibly disrespectful and dehumanizing way to refer to a person and is by extension a form of homophobia. Just because you might not have been actively thinking in those terms when you wrote it doesn't change that it is homophobic. Just means it's internalized, and you need to do some work, my dude. | /r/Divorce_Men | 18/12/23 02:16 AM

I think I fell out of love with my wife last night.OP fwiw - My ex and I had some bedroom issues as well. If you truly do not want a divorce, I'd suggest cutting off sex for now, until you both do some work in single and couples therapy (not saying you need it but having someone to talk to, work on strategies from couples therapy etc. is important). When I made this decision it became clear fairly quick that we were using sex to ignore our other issues (think make up sex to avoid fighting, etc). When I shut that down, so that we could focus on t… | /r/Divorce_Men | 05/11/23 12:48 PM
I think I fell out of love with my wife last night.I was thinking this too. Even if sex is *the only issue* (which i doubt, if she's acting like this, I don't believe it isn't happening in other aspects of the marriage), this is cruel and abusive behavior. Imagine if this was on r/divorce and the roles were reversed. Every single person would be calling for divorce, or to try and press charges or whatever. it would be mayhem. | /r/Divorce_Men | 05/11/23 12:41 PM
I think I fell out of love with my wife last night. You may not want a divorce my man, but you need one. She clearly doesn't respect you, your feelings or your efforts you have made to appease her (I'm assuming the curtail of watching porn was because of her ). If you aren't bringing this up in therapy, I implore you to do so. All the details, no matter how bad it may make her look or uncomfortable you feel doing it with her right there. One of my most clarifying moments was being in therapy with my ex-wife and seeing her lose her shit because th… | /r/Divorce_Men | 05/11/23 12:34 PM
