lol I didn't know there were moderates. I get it. It's Men vs. Women and women are the enemy and I don't "get it" and "never will." Sorry for having healthy relationships with women.

They are not more peaceful, more in tune with their emotions, more smarter, or whatever crap myth the masses tend to push nowadays. I don't know what sort of fictional universe you're living in where women are taught they're "more smarter" than men but okay. Not good enough. We need to stop pushing women as better than men and get away from this image presented as the feminine being more divine. Who's pushing women as better than men? Men still get paid more, get more promotions, run pretty much…

The answer is complicated as shit and has a lot to do with the male image of masculinity and how it relates to our society. Men are expected to "suck it up" and "man up" and deal with whatever pitfalls befall him, whether it's emotional or financial or even physical. Feminism, imo, is not only about understanding that we need to value women more than for their reproductive traits and physical appearance, but also is about not expecting men to not have emotions, to not buy into a culture of bulls…

I don't remember the exact rules of childhood grammar school but almost certain nobody was allowed to hit, period. But obviously /r/MensRights can only advocate a universe in which women are taught that destroying men is their only worthy goal apparently?

Women I know are not taught that. So please try to avoid generalizing an entire gender. Certainly in my schools growing up, all hitting was forbidden. I don't know what sort of social culture you belong to, but most people I know do know that hitting is wrong. Period. I hope you find people who agree with your values, cause it sounds like you know some not great people. :-\

Were expected to take it and here's what that's done for me, I don't trust women. I don't think you're expected to take it. You should report it and seek counseling, if you require it. Anybody who expects you to "man up" and take it is an asshole and you should try to avoid surrounding yourself with people like that. But try to remember that not all women are like that, just like all men aren't like that.

I disagree. If you said, "teach men to shave properly," it doesn't imply that there are NO men who can shave properly. It implies that men should know this. Most men know not to rape. But some don't. And they need to be held responsible for themselves, and other men need to hold them responsible, and we, as a society, need to hold them responsible, rather than focusing on the victim and what they might've done to mitigate their risk.

I didn't miss that. Some men do rape. I don't think that necessarily implies all men are rapists. It's basically a way of stopping the way we victim blame. You know, cause when someone's house gets robbed, nobody ever says they deserved it for having nice stuff. You just have to not take it personally. Not every thing about "men" is really about all men, just like studies about any demographic aren't really about ALL of that demographic.

Having said that, this line of reasoning was not acceptable to feminists when they, by and large, painted all men as rapists, murderers, pedophiles, etc. and men responded with #NotAllMen. Nice straw man. I don't know any feminists who think all men are rapists, murderers, pedophiles, etc. Most feminists have fathers, brothers, male friends, etc. Maybe you shouldn't base your knowledge of feminism on TumblrInAction.
