Women get compliments from men AND women. Men don't receive as many compliments from the opposite sex as women do.

They don't have to DO anything to be loved in the first place.

Meeting online has displaced friends as the main way heterosexual couples in the United States meet. Traditional ways of meeting partners (through family, in church, in the neighborhood) have all been declining since World War II. Meeting through friends has been in decline since roughly 1995.

LMAO I've only ever asked out women who aren't conventionally attractive and they've all rejected me.

What he said was that you need to meet a minimum looks threshold before your personality is considered.

So you agree that there's certain universal criteria that decide whether someone is "attractive and sexy" or not?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/24 04:27 PM

It literally says in the article that you need to meet a minimum looks threshold before your personality is considered.

So you'll be fine spending your life from birth being strapped to a table and being given IV nutrients? You'd still live!

The majority of male students in my med school are virgins while the majority of female students aren't.

Women never have to worry about dying alone having never been considered sexually or romantically attractive by even a single member of the opposite sex.

"People giving me money for doing nothing is not validating", says the millionaire to the beggar. You don't know what it feels like to have never been considered sexually or romantically attractive by even a single member of the opposite sex.

"I don’t like money so if anything, people giving me money is more uncomfortable than not haha.", says the millionaire to the beggar. His point is that women focusing on their looks and spending lots of money on it is indicative of them placing importance on their appearance and how men perceive them.

The woman still has the peace of mind and the security that members of the opposite sex find her sexually attractive. Average men don't have that luxury.

If even an anthropomorphic pig-woman hybrid can get multiple partners, I really don't think it's a lie.

If even an anthropomorphic pig-woman hybrid can get multiple partners, I really don't think the average man cares too much what a woman looks like.

Not if the man is of a healthy weight.

You'd have thought that if women cared so much about how they look, they wouldn't have let themselves become fat in the first place. Are they being force-fed?

You need to pass a minimum looks threshold before your personality is taken into account.

Studies have indeed shown that women, at least in Western cultures, often rank a fit body as a desirable trait in a male partner. One study from the Archives of Sexual Behavior suggests that physical attributes, including body shape, are more influential.

It inflates women's standards by making them think the 20% are their looksmatch and the type of men they deserve, causing them to stay overweight and reject average men.

Maybe you'd understand if you'd gone your entire life never having been considered sexually or romantically attractive by a single member of the opposite sex and being rejected hundreds of times, all the while have 20 times the amount of testosterone you currently have.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/24 03:02 PM

You literally biologically cannot understand what it's like to be male and have 20 times the testosterone you currently have. It's not 'sexist horseshit'. You deserve to be alone But Jeffrey Dahmer, Cameron Herrin, Jeremy Meeks, and Ted Bundy 'deserve' to have hundreds of love letters sent to them. Interesting.

Doesn't mean it's enjoyable to fight your basic biological desires every waking second.

Recognition and acknowledgement of the systemic disadvantage endured by men would be better, but I'll settle for an Oreo.

I want my partner to be on my level in terms of experience, so that there isn't a power imbalance. I've had much more fun learning chess with another newbie, with both of us watching various Youtube videos and trying stuff out and making mistakes and laughing at them and then learning from them, compared to being taught by a professional. It was also more memorable overall.

I never said anything about "being made for each other". I want my partner to be on my level in terms of experience, so that there isn't a power imbalance, Eating ice-cream, watching sunsets or movies, etc. are activities you do to or with a person's body. I've liked watching movies that someone has recommended to me or told me that it's their favourite, but it was better watching it by myself. If they're there with me, they either reveal spoilers and try to explain stuff, zone out, or don't pay…

66% and 62% are still majorities. I linked the wrong source, I saw the statistic here.

2/20 vision from birth, solar urticaria, hyperhidrosis, uneven teeth which would require extensive surgery and life-long braces to correct, deviated septum, frequent tonsilitis and recurrent sinus infections and mouth ulcers. mild scoliosis, dermatographia, ASD, OCD, and ADHD (diagnoses so far). Being South Asian certainly is. I'm most attracted to brown women, but brown women are most attracted to white and East-Asian men. The "shy women" I'm friends with have very clearly told me what races of…

That's still a majority. Of the people you know, is the percentage of virgins higher or lower than 50%? I linked the wrong source, I saw the statistic here.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
