Selective experiences of a very biased set of individuals. Many of which are likely to exaggerate or ensonify any claim. Its like saying "dogs suck" in a dog hating group. The thread will be filled with people agreeing, exaggerating and the bias of opinions cements this as fact in the minds of many. Repeat it a few times and you have a group of dedicated haters.

I never understand why people consider spending time with their kids and taking care of them as something of a chore but spending time on your job as the sweet thing. Women take more accomodations and prefer quality time with their family and kids. No body holds them accountable for doing that. Men are not encouraged to do that. I would rather spend time with my family than to work a job. They make it as if taking care of the kid is the licorice and spending time gruelling at work is the chocola…

Thing is when you are a man. You learn not to antagonize people with physical altercations when that person can bend you like a folding chair. You get into a fight with the idea that you will be under danger as well. Weak, scrawny men will get floored if they punched or slapped a random buff guy. Women just dont go through that thought process. They would slap and push and wouldnt even have the decency to guard for a coming blow. Another thing is you dont avoid fights easily , showing your back …

Yes, but i am just gonna say this here, Holding group identities responsible for criminal activities is never good practice in my opinion. Unless a core idea of that group is based on violence that is. Like religion for example.

Do try out the thetinmen posts or r/thetinmen they will give you a clearer perspective to think about. A lot of human rights and equality metrics are based on how equal women are to men. If women do better than men in certain metrics its considered an equal society and the other way around is considered unequal. UNs gender inequality index works like that. People face a lot of issues. So do women. And in quite a few scenarios women face worse than men. But this categorically becomes means to ign…

Consider it as shedding extra weight from your life. While she is in her la la land, get custody of the kids and sue her for child support. Over time your kids will realise she chose her freedom over spending time with them, which is perfectly fine but the kids should learn where priorities right.(From my understanding she doesn't want to be in the kids life either right?) And Live your life the best you can, for you and your kids.

The history is a huge mess. But you can read about it Here In my personal opinion the reasons were probably that people started breaking away from their central home. Which had the family as a whole. Along with loosening dependency to the family for survival since people stopped being landowners/warlords. And lack of violence and caste based divisions in the last few centuries. Finally with tremendous leaps in education they got molded into similar family structures as what was the norm.

From what I read the Na Xi were Matrilineal. So i can see why the men lounged the way they did. My community of individuals used to be Matrilineal too. Very few still are, but thats it. They had children adopting their mothers surname and being raised by their uncles. But in this case it was constant warefare that made men basically die too quickly and without successors that this mode of family existed. Polyandry too was practised to a certain degree with not a lot of mourning put for the death…

It was a tradeoff. Both suffered. Men had little to no value as individuals. They were discardable fodder and workhorses. And women existed basically to create more workhorses and fodder. The nobility and royalty made sure that both these roles were being followed.

Labels are something i abhor in these situations. A lot of people here would happily agree to "women having equal rights and opportunities" which is the exact definition of feminism. But would scorn the idea of "feminism" because its become a garb at times for outrageous claims of victimhood. Where does the line of victimhood end and where does the responsibility begin. When one realises that everyone is victim to discrimination and rigid rules on their own gender. Even men, feminism doesn't bec…

As someone pointed out before incel is the new buzzword to immaculate a man verbally. Its the new "sissy". Its used because it ends arguments in label which then devolve around the application of the label and its validity onto the user. People seem to live in this black and whit world where they have this notion of right and wrong no matter what. Failing to understand the nuances of the situation. Falling out of this boundary of logic and you get a label that bar all of your opinion as invalid.

The real villain is either (poseidon and athena) or just athena depending on the story's version. She became a monster that killed people and Perseus killed her. The Greek hero wasn't the bastion of justice but neither was he evil in any way.

As an outsider the extreme left in western countries seems like authoritarians to me. They have no qualms stifling free speech, discourage discourse that is not too inline to their thought process and does this weird form of internet witch hunt where they randomly find and ban people. I thought the left were supposed to be liberal and more open to ideas. Seems like asshattery is a core trait for humans.

Try not to look at relief against victims to who the perpetrator might be. The gender of a perpetrator or victim should not be a reason to deny anyone protection from law. If a general edict againat violence is present why the heck would there be a gender specific one as well?

Interesting. Might be a biological driven sampling bias. But much more likely in my opinion is that their sample set itself is small. People are often aware and interested about individuals that are better off than them. Might be a gender independent factor. They probably look at the list of all popular powerholders through means that are availbale to them and notice a bias against their gender. While at the same time failing to notice the bias against the other gender. Might be true for both ge…

Yes. The conditions are horrible for women as well. No one denied that. But at the same time there are men dying from cleaning gutter and sewage, in bonded labor which is basically slavery with extra steps. Constitute most of the people working in inhumane labour conditions. Being mobbed to death. Our Constitution does not recognise rape or domestic violence against men. We had a draconic law where a married woman can have her husband and in laws imprisoned without possiblity of bail citing hara…

I once saw a labourer with a sunburn on his back working construction midday, probably to raise a family. Talked to another one who told me he moved 2000 kms to do field work because he can now pay for his kids school education and have more money left over for family. Men do care. It should never be a question. They see men in business suits and leadership positions while they choose to ignore the men cleaning sewers or breaking their backs doing physical labour. The tag of toxic masculinity is meant to shift the blame over to the men's side, making them wholly responsible for their own ordeals. This is the most blatantly cruel and disgusting outlook that i have ever heard. Consider the gall to tell a person that they are all suffering because they are prejudiced.

Soldiers who worked within the ship's hull died in some of the most horrible ways. They often got trapped within the wreckages of the hull or burned inside. I remember reading an article where some seaman stated that they remembered screams and hittings on the hull resonating from the outside. Often times these men died with no knowledge of the cause of their deaths. And their bodies unsalvageable from wreckages.

I dont think its the article itself thats being scrutified here. Rather its the reaction to it. You actually managed to see the fact that without any conviction or complete investigation of events nothing can be pinned on both. Which i agree with. The way the people reacted to that originally was claims that overwhelming stated that women in general are not taken seriously when they make domestic violence allegations as well as when they get falsely accused themselves. I just realized this group is in r/AgainstHateSubreddits or something, they kinda capitulate on some aspects of comments which are actually rude and can be borderline misogynistic and then categorise the whole group as a bunch of misogynist's, which i think is highly unfair. This group does have some biased individuals but i believe that is exactly because people stifle dialogue and categorise people with label's that signify hatefulness without initiating any constructive dialogue.

Indian here : Treatment of women can be really horrible here but let me explain. Northern India has much more prejudice towards women (some places to a much greater degree than others) than compared to the south and The North East where women enjoy the greatest freedom in the Indian Subcontinent. Overall though in both regions women live far confined lives as compared to western societies. and i will explain about it in a bit. Its the Issue of perspective. They are concerned with what concerns them. We are concerned with what concerns us. They see themselves as being a possible victim as the foremost priority and will leverage whatever they can to correct that injustice even at the cost of men. I am tired of some women acting like men are the only problems and the moment we disappear they are gonna make a eutopia of the world. I wish men would just disappear for 100 years so that these cunts would bear the result of their own demands. I meant the men who get angry at women for rejecting them and or calling them names. Some guys do that. Yes.Agree on that, but men a class do. There are a lot of issues that people have, not being affected by them does not mean we should not raise them. When generalisations villanify all men, that is wrong. I never even mention the Idea of sexuality and relationships in my post. So nice slip in there. Men were not oppressed, neither were most women. I think we should separate the heavy handed concerns of men's issues like high Suicide rates, Work rate Fatality, War Deaths, problematic Divorce outcomes, Domestic Violence, Issues of Male disposability from issues and biases on the dating scenes. A lot of people think most of legitimate men's issues revolve just around how they interact with women and the dating scene. It's not . You cannot discredit the issues men's face because of this. https://www.statista.com/statistics/288184/homicide-victim-suspect-relationship-in-england-and-wales-by-gender/ A statistical report on homicide victims by gender for England and Wales. Men are 3 to 4 times more likely to die at quite a few age groups. Its ironic how they disregard the male gender probably because the perpetrators were mostly male. This gives a notion of male disposability. Are these bunch just narcissistic about their gender class to the extreme or are most feminists like this?…

Well, looking at the bobs and vagene meme, plenty of simps who havent had their nose break from hitting the proverbial wall.
