Feeling good handbook, and Intimate Connections by David D. Burns. The dude has 11/10 empathy skills, and his techniques all drill down to the most basic thoughts we have so we can change them and ourselves for good.

When u find out let the rest of us know... I don't think anyone knows foolproof way. I'm the same way, I go out 3 days a week and any day where I'm the dd the night is absolutely boring and crap.

Walk around mall/barnes and noble? Instant conversation topics from the different stores there, and from the different books/boardgames/etc on displays

Texting inbetween can speed up their comfort level, reduce flaking, and create topics you can bring back up during the actual date

Yes treat hot girl like all other girl but do the extra step of making plans with them for some 1 on 1 time. Very casual and stuff

i mean if u want to practice flirting you got a girl who is a friend who can boost your state if you are out, and could help maybe fill in days where you'd only be playing videogames or something, other girls easier to open when you are with a wingwomen since you have solid social proof esp if you two are shooting the shit and bringing people into your convo that are around you

force urself to start shooting the shit, super casual convo, don't let convo lull force urself to keep talking if she is responding well, backoff if she doesn't want to talk just be super chill and casual (no pressure). When you run out of stuff to say just excuse urself and maybe get a number since you liked the convo u were having and think she's chill (be super chill when u ask) or if you think she'll visit this place often maybe wait till next time to get the # since if u see them again it'l…

You're going to be traumatized the first 10-20 you do. You're probably going to go home and cry afterwards, want to cut yourself, and want to give up. But if you push through you'll get better. Just saying. Or you'll quit too early and be so traumatized you'll have PTSD and you'll never be able to look a girl in the eye again. Just saying. Good Luck.
/r/seduction21/01/16 05:18 AM
1

Well you could end up with flashbacks/PTSD if you force your into situations that make you extremely anxious. You could end up regressing, and losing even more self esteem as your ego gets destroyed by being ignored, insulted, and out right called-out in public.
/r/seduction18/01/16 08:06 PM

I really hate having my ego destroyed. I almost attempted suicide after a full night's worth of rejections and people laughing at me. For my own safety I decided to never do that again. I wish there was another way than going to public areas and cold approaching women who destroy your self esteem.

All the young hot girls are off at college, so if you don't live in a town with the college you're basically f***** and stuck with girls in their 30's plus.

Jesus Christ I don't think I am. Good lord I don't know what to do, having some type of existential feelings right now. It's like I don't want to get rejected really really badly, but I want a girlfriend who really really badly the dichotomy is god damn short circuiting my brain.

Push positive feelings outward, focus on what's in front of you, exude positive emotions, shoot the s*** with others as you would a friend, appreciate that other people are interesting and you want to get to know everyone! Give everyone a chance. One of those many many people you talk to at the fair maybe a girl and maybe a girl might be sort of attractive and maybe that girl might be interested in you, but you don't worry or care you are treating everyone with positivity. I do all these things but girls aren't in my life. Im I just an unlucky fuck or something? It hurts me inside when it feels like I've put in all this work for a specific reason (to find a wife) and nothing happens. This feeling gets stronger day by day and is pulling me towards suicide. I'd rather be non existent than continue to fight everyday.

Thanks. One of the only ways I've found to enjoy doing nothing is daydreaming. I know its not as good as meditation but I find that I feel a lot better when I'm not on the computer/watching porn and I am instead imagining stuff in my head while sitting quietly in a chair. I like to think that anything I could waste time doing, I could imagine doing it in my head and get the same response. Like instead of playing videogames, I'd just imagine how the videogame would play out in my head. It's the o…

I tried being present, but why do I feel so bored from being present that I end up stopping it altogether? I focus on the sensations in my body, focusing on the feeling of boredom and try to accept it, and this works for a few days. Then one day I just can't force myself to continue it. It's almost like I get so discouraged from how boring being present is that I avoid it all costs like a Pavlov's dog response to continued negative stimulus. Its like eating bland food, you can do it for a few da…

so if I gather what you are saying, we should have a general appreciation day. I would support something like that. But on the other hand, I do like holidays, & I wouldn't mind having more than 1 appreciation day. Maybe we could replace Mother's Day, Father's Day, and Labor Day with appreciation days. Of course, these appreciation days would be for those who you deem worthy, and not for being just a simple person.

it sucks that amphetamines give you a limp dick. Usually it increases sex drive. Oh well. About this girl, how well have you guys really been interacting? If you were having such a great time, you would have zero issue asking her to do something around campus. If you are still scared of asking her to do something, maybe you guys aren't as close as you think. Perhaps start escalating a little more during your study time, and getting to know each other a little better. Now this all depends on how …

the guy you are talking about was trying to frame control you. His strategy was to insult you to make you self conscious. This would shift the focus away from his insecurities onto yours.you can combat this by getting right up in his face. Or you can physically block him out of the conversation by pushing him away with you are back. As everyone knows physical contact is more powerful than any insult. These kinds of pricks think they can get away with saying anything they want because they think …

I completely agree. Therapeutic doses that are indicated for the diseases that are treated by amphetamines are regarded as safe. Of course if you abused the drug bad things are likely to occur. This is why they are schedule 2 drugs, when taking these medications it is very important to be counseled by a healthcare professional.

if a girl is attractive enough, she could say that she thinks she is the Prince of Nigeria or some s*** and I wouldn't give a single f***. yeah, she might chop off my dick if I talk to another girl, but I could tell all my friends I banged a hottie, am i right?

I don't know about your personal life, but for me my mother worked her ass off to raise me. She sacrificed a lot to raise me and my brothers and sisters, all by herself. My alcoholic father got sent to prison for selling drugs when I was young. I owe nothing to him but I owe so much to my mom. I see no issue in showing appreciation for someone who has sacrificed so much for me and that I deeply care for. I have a hard time believing that nobody cares about anyone else. I for one care about a lot of people. And I'd imagine that many other people care for others. I know you probably don't believe me, but I challenge you to look for the good in people. You might be surprised what you find out.

Any advice to sticking to routine? When I start things i am really ready to do them at first but it only takes a little while to get distracted. For example whenever i try to start exercising, like doing 5 pushups a day, i just don't feel like doing it even though i know i should do it to be healthy. I try to switch exercises if I get bored of them but I don't want to do any exercise at all. I don't beat myself up over it but I recognize that exercise had numerous health benefits.

Saving face doesn't matter since once a girl displays overt rejection, it is time to move on. "Getting the last laugh" by having some witty retort to rejection is a sign of insecurity since you are attempting to defend a fragile ego. A congruent man is unfazed by even the harshest rejections because their self love is invulnerable to remarks by women.

Sometimes when I do the "no hesitation" approaches it ends up with a boring conversation that leads no where. Sporadic efforts often lead no where. In order to build and keep skills that deteriorate over time it takes incremental persistent effort over long periods of time. This is true of any difficult profession or skill. And I would argue that cold approach is one of those skills that demands patient persistence.

It can be really painful when you're bad at it. When you can feel yourself making social mistakes. Similar feeling to how it is embarrassing when you first start working out and you have to curl tiny weights in front of people who are curling 20x more weight. Starting cold approach as a newbie also feels similar to jogging and being really fat with man boobs jiggling and people shout out of their cars calling you a fatty. But as you practice hard using the scientific method (write out observatio…

A lot of the fear guys have is logical when you think about our tribal history. Talking with someone, leaving a bad impression and being ostracized from the group would lead to death. A legitimate fear back then. Difficult to overcome the hard wiring without physical proof that it can be done safely and smoothly. A lot of guys don't see cold-approaching happening in their environments. They want someone to do it in-person so they can see that they'll be safe when they try it. Guys who cold-appro…

I think a lot of guys need more social interaction. I see a lot guys who only post on forums about how lonely they are, how much they hate all women, how much they hate loud bars and club, how boring their towns are, and how they hate going outside and would rather watch TV and porn all day. I would like to challenge these folks to learn to be social. A common thing I've found with hobbies/interests is that you don't really start to enjoy them until you are proficient in them. Learning piano suc…

Just depends on the area you are in. Learning cold approach works well when you have a nomadic lifestyle since you can work out the kinks in your game without fear of building a "reputation". A common mistake I see guys make is the classic horror story where a guy approaches every girl in their small town and now has the reputation of "that guy". If you are moving from city to city this is unlikely to happen. This is especially true if you are a socially inept guy who is going to make some socia…

Odds of getting hiv from upper middle class areas is very low. Gonorrhea is much more likely since its transmission through vaginal sex is much higher than catching HIV through vaginal sex. Additionally, women have zero symptoms. They couldn't even tell you if they have it if they wanted to. This is a different story if you are into unprotected anal or are an iv drug user (then HIV and Hep C are common).

Agreed. Back in the day, antibiotic resistant strains were very rare. HIV today is not a huge issue depending on the area. However, there are strains of Gonorrhea today that resistant to almost all known antibiotics (3rd, 4th gen cephalosporins, macrolides, tetracylcines, and even some fluoroquinolones). Soon it will be no more just going down to the clinic to get a shot of antibiotics after a night out. Not surprisingly, Gonorrhea is listed as an Urgent threat by the CDC. That's right up there …

If I say yes, I don't expect things in return unless that is the intention of the agreement such as in business or loans. I look at my schedule, and if I see no issues, then I usually assist. The person is free to feel smug that they are taking advantage of me. I don't care what they think if I am treated with respect. Men have an abundance of love and care for others. We have the strength and ability to give to others. Many women live in a world of scarcity and as men we act through our intenti…

I feel for those who have lost trust and have come here for advice for mending their emotional wounds. I see many turn their pain outward, brandishing a razor's edge of distrust and hate against women as a whole. Instead of "just say no", I think a better way to phrase it would be "don't just say yes". Be willing to help others who cannot fully repay you, but carefully consider your own time commitments. A man doesn't say no to get back at others like in your examples. A man says no when he has legitimate reasons such as logistics, scheduling, or other interests we would rather pursue. He doesn't reserve his declinations to feel smug but looks at each situation holistically. He would gladly help anyone h…

"Your notch count shouldn't be a factor in your self worth. Treat sex like you treat hunger. The feminine doesn't want you to since that is it's only agency. But disregard that." Yep. This applies to both genders, but I see a lot of hate towards women who adopt this redpill stance. A lot of comments will call out women for how many "notches" they have, yet at the same time they console each other that "notches" don't factor into self-worth. A lot of people are hungry for sex, women and men alike…

I don't take one side of this issue based purely on opinion. If there was direct evidence showing discrimination I think that should be corrected. However, if the evidence is lacking and poorly done then is there actually an issue to discuss? We can tear apart the issue from every philosophical point of view, but at the end of the day evidence-based decisions are often the fairest. The hitch comes from when the evidence is poor on either side of the issue and people start to bring in their philo…

Agreed. A lot of these beta males don't realize how much these "duped females" actually enjoy sleeping around. There are a ton of women out there who only want to have one-night stands, just like there are a ton of guys who only want to sleep with random girls. Does this make all girls whores and all guys players? Hell no.
/r/TheRedPill20/03/15 07:15 PM

I'm glad you have taken initiative to focus on your happiness and self-worth. There is nothing wrong with sleeping around, short-term dating, or long-term dating. These are prefers that vary between people. Go with what you think you'll find the most enjoyment and fulfillment out of. Be reminded that this goes for both genders, so there are a lot of girls who are only looking for guys who also want to sleep around. Wrap it up. Be safe.

I think you are right about those who feel entitled are less likely to repay. As such, I think gender doesn't hold a candle to the character of a person as an indicator of who will or will not repay debts. Of all the people I've loaned things out to, those who impressed upon me a sense of integrity and trust were the ones most likely to repay. This was irregardless of their gender. There are a lot of assholes out there, but I think more specific criteria should be invoked to hone in on something…

I think it's important to focus less on how much money you make (as long as it's above about $25k a year), and more how to find a job that you would enjoy doing 8 hours a day. Even if that job incurs debt during the education aspect. If that job you enjoy so happens to be a stressful CEO job, that's great. If the job is a $26k gas station attendant where you love seeing and talking with the same people everyday then I think that's fine as well. I don't think everyone would want to lead. There ar…

I don't think this issue is a gender issue per se but people issue. "Yes-man" syndrome so to speak. Watching someone be an asshole to a homeless person and then watch them come up to you smiling and laughing because you are the one interviewing them for a job. There is a quote I can't remember where from but it reflects on how you can judge the character of someone by how they treat someone they have no obligation to be nice to. Depends if the guy enjoys her company or not. If he is just going on dates just because OP is a girl and not because he actually enjoys it that's his problem. He could easily see other people while OP is deciding whether or not to make a commitment. This is why I think it's important to diversify the dating pool and take a lesson from finance (don't put all your eggs in one basket until the deal has been sealed). I would rather know, do they enjoy each other's company? Do they laugh together? Are they excited to go on dates? Did they discuss exclusivity? I wouldn't recommend selling drugs at least if you live in the united states unless you are extremely charismatic and slick. Definitely look at your college and state's toughness on drugs. Getting caught and charged with selling can ruin your life. I recommend playing it legal and focusing on pushing your social comfort limits (its perfectly legal to hit on any girl any time you want, outwit assholes, sleep with people's girlfriends, be confident and be alpha)
/r/TheRedPill18/03/15 05:55 PM

I would say there is nothing wrong with dating other people. You haven't made any commitments or promises of exclusivity. Having an active social life is important. If you continue to move forward with this guy and talk about being exclusive, only then should you stop dating others. Dropping potential suitors at the drop of a hat like other commenters are implying could end up with you having to start from zero if things dont work out.

Yep. I do the same thing, predicting what the replies would be. Still too scared to actually do it though. I don't want to become the 'campus creeper tryhard' who is always trying to talk to girls in coffee shops. Indeed, self-love is key to becoming alpha. Everyone knows what alpha is but how does one attain it? I have a technique for developing self-love/self-appreciation/self-esteem. It involves destroying negative thought patterns that are commonly present in the depressed and lonely. The premise is that thoughts create emotions, not the other way around. Every time you are sad, angry, despondent it is because of a thought pattern you had. In order to fight these thoughts: Whenever you are in a bad em…
