In your view, what issues are left to address

I haven’t heard of her before now. What exactly was she claiming she couldn’t do that men could?

Yep. They aren’t falling all over themselves for manual labor jobs (even high paying ones) either.

Just a bystander here… She still hasn’t answered your first question, which was to provide a legal benefit men have that women don’t. LOL

Exactly. I would not in 1,000,000 years describe him as ugly. Only ugly insides make a person ugly.

There is a book I read recently called “Loving Your Spouse when You Feel Like Walking Away” by Gary Chapman. You’re not thinking of walking away, but it’s a topical book that speaks to very specific issues in marriages, one chapter per issue (anger, substance abuse, workaholic, etc), so it’s more like a reference than a novel. Anyway, I mention it because there is a chapter in there about dealing with a husband who sounds like yours: good man but works a lot, wife struggles to get him to slow do…

It’s interesting to me how he cheated, but now is telling you how you’re the problem. Sister, please listen to the person who you replied to above this comment. YOU get to decide if you will trust him. Not him. And his actions so far have not given you many reasons to rebuild anything with him. You are worth so much more than this nonsense he’s putting you through. Who cares if it takes a while to find another guy. You do not need a guy to be worthy or whole. You are enough, just being yourself.

I had the same thing happen to me when I posted a question on r/racism because I sub to r/Conservative . I asked a very neutral question that was in support of their sub, and was permanently banned.

Seems that way. For people who, on the surface, seem to be pushing tolerance and acceptance, they are the least that way themselves.

The racism sub did this to me. Banned me for literally no reason. I asked a question to gain understanding. Boom, banned. When I asked why, they never answered.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
