OK, for the last time: this was a role-reversal experiment. Had I gone with friends, it would have compromised the integrity of the experiment. Being by myself forced me to talk to whomever would talk to me for reasons I've already gone over several times. If you want to think I'm bi-curious, gay, or RuPaul, then fine, that's your prerogative and it shows your utter lack of understanding of this situation. I accomplished what I wanted and I gained a great deal from the experiment. And I am secur…

OK, I'll bite, even though obvious troll is obvious. You don't have to be attracted to someone to be able to discern whether or not they are charming and would be a good pick-up artist. I thought of it as acting, as a role-reversal. And just because I thought they were charming and good at the pick-up doesn't imply any sexual attraction. I have a decent enough imagination to see how a potential target of theirs would respond in this situation. Furthermore, if what you're saying were to be the le…

Wow, that was almost romantic what he did. I'm gonna have to use that one.

Perhaps they would be different, but my goal was to see the difference in effective approaches versus non-effective approaches, which despite my lack of sexual attraction to them I was still able to discern.

You'll be much better for it. A word of caution: Though I'm not necessarily assuming that you're one of those peacocking types, I would highly recommend just dressing normally but nicely, as you would for a nice bar or club. Being peacocky is just going to send out signals that are even more confusing to the guys there, as if just being a straight guy wasn't confusing enough.

Um, no. Not the least bit interested in men. I controlled the interaction and I knew that nothing would happen because I am not interested in men sexually. I barely understand how women find us attractive in the first place. This was just a way to see what it was like from the other side of the interaction, and judging from other people's experiences in this thread, it is indeed instructive. If you're a homophobe or are uncomfortable with your sexuality being the least bit threatened, then obvio…

It probably wouldn't work for you as the whole point of this exercise for me was that nothing sexual would happen for me. A bisexual male, on the other hand, could initiate something sexual in this circumstance, which in my mind defeats the purpose of this exercise.

Although I'd like CuilRunnings to elaborate more on this, I think alpha attempt that is unsuccessful is so because you mis-time it and come off looking try-hard.

Same thing happened to me. A couple of guys were really cool and we had a lot of things in common. I doubt they were consciously thinking about what stage of pick up they were in, but I could definitely tell where we were in it. I really wish I could've had a notebook with me so I could take notes. And yeah, not knowing when to take your leave from a set is definitely annoying for who you're trying to talk to. That was a big lesson learned for me too.

Yeah I agree with you, but I didn't think about it like that until you put it like that. I'm not used to being the pick-up-ee (is that even a word?) and I definitely felt vulnerable at times. But still, it was a worthwhile experience.

True. Some people on seddit tend to want to just be soulless fucking machines, which to me has about as much appeal as being the AFC that I used to be.

I said it's not just about getting laid for its own sake. That part's easy. I said it's about getting laid with high-quality women.

Getting laid is much easier than fundamentally changing myself to attract higher-quality women. It's easy to take home the average woman.

I know that sedditors will say "B-b-b-b-but Gunwitch's methods work even if he is a scumbag!" However, Seduction isn't necessarily about just getting laid. That part's easy. It's about getting laid with women of high quality because you've turned yourself into a man of high quality. Gunwitch and men like him are anything but men of high quality, therefore their advice should not be heeded.

I agree with you about Mystery's kiss close. In my experience it only seems to work on drunk girls. Has anyone else noticed that or is it just me? I do need to work on kino escalation as it doesn't come very naturally to me, and when I do it, I always seem to mis-time it and/or it comes off very unnaturally. Any suggestions on that?

Hmmm, that's very much a paradigm shift for me, that she's been thinking about kissing you well before I have. That has occurred to me before, but more along the lines of "Oh God, is he gonna try to kiss me?" I guess I need to work on my inner game a bit more too.

Thanks for this bit of help. You're probably right, I do overthink things, and not just in seduction. Trust your feelings, young Padwan.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
