Ohio BOY suspended...I can see why you'd think it's a double standard, as girls are allowed to have long hair, but as a female at an all-girls college I'm not allowed to have the short hair that is enforced on you. As I said in an earlier comment, my friend was not allowed to 'properly' do Worlds's Greatest Shave and my other friend who had cancer was pressured into wearing her wig. I went to an all girls Christian college, and I had a friend who had leukaemia. There was no bold rule, but it was generally expected, for the times she did come to school, to wear one of her wigs.
