I deleted the comment and apologized. I shouldn't have said what I did, but anyway, thank you for taking the time to reply.

Clearly I said something that upset people. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to.

It's not true that they're harder for me to talk to or get along with?

I didn't say they don't have vivid life experiences. They're just harder to communicate with because they add subtex and assume I'm saying things I'm not saying. I'd like to find a guy I can effectively talk to. I apologize if that's a problem or if I said something offensive.

In my experience, pretty people typically don't have fringe interests, aren't as nerdy, are more likely to be neurotypical, don't like intellectual conversations as much, are generally less "weird" and are therefore harder to talk to or get along with. If you have a different experience that's cool! That's just mine.

No but he's the incarnation of God. I can trust in that. Humans, on the other hand, can be very problematic.

Especially about that last part - Chads can be pretty hard to have a conversation with. They don't seem to have many thoughts or idea compared to other men.

I'm attracted to men who I think will be nice I'm not attracted to men who I think will be mean I don't think that's confusing but maybe it is

I'm actually very frightened of Chads because I assume they'll be mean to me. The more traditionally hot a guy is, the less I am likely to interact with him in any capacity. (I also assume we won't have anything in common to talk about lol)

"Paradoxically, Paul Freedman, professor of history at Yale and author of The Ten Restaurants that Changed America, noted that even in France the entrée isn’t actually the first course of the meal. “The entrée came third,” said Freedman, in reference to how entrée was used in France when more courses were eaten during a meal. “In this sense, the actual entrée in the United States is closer to the original meaning of the word than the entrée is in France.”"

On the flip side, it's hard for me to understand not caring for a child regardless of who their parents are. I was actually talking about this with my mother the other day - we both feel it's very easy to love children even if they aren't our own. But maybe it does come down to some sort of different wiring between the genders. It's an interesting divergence.

Sure, but some of us have reasons (faith/values) that keep us from participating regardless of the easy access.

The thought of men not believing women about their low N counts is sort of frightening. If I'm about to sleep with a guy for the first time and he doesn't actually believe I'm a virgin, so he just proceeds like it's business as usual, it seems like the whole thing could be pretty unpleasant or just downright painful.

I'm curious, do people here feel negatively about step-mothers the same way they seem to about step-fathers? I don't really want to have kids myself but I've always been open to the idea of being a step-mom.

Yeah, but I hate all pictures of myself in general. It's to a point where I don't let anybody take any of me lol High school was particularly rough in the looks department though.

That sounds awesome!!! I do pixel art and I like it for similar reasons...it's very precise/almost mathematical, which keeps me from getting overwhelmed by the process.

I guess. Regardless, it was a good lesson for me. If I get asked on a date again I gotta stick to ordering food in the $10-$15 range lol.

Yes, but my friends think the same way I do about it. I guess my social circle isn't typical.

Right, it is the new thing, but I assumed it was more common than it actually is I guess. I figured everyone nowadays believes having the guy pay is unnecessary.

Not all of us do. I'm very anti-engagement ring in general. Wedding rings are fine as long as they don't have gems and aren't made out of overly-expensive materials. The more practical the better (wooden ones are my favorite.) People have differing tastes and differing priorities when it comes to such things.

I always order cheap when I know somebody else is paying. It's just polite imo. But I just didn't expect people tried to pay for each other on first dates these days so it caught me off-guard.

The last date I went on, the guy suggested dinner. I've never done a dinner date before but I assumed we'd split the bill, so I ordered a slightly pricey fish dish. We had a pleasant time but it was obvious neither of us were feeling it. I offered to pay for my meal a few times and he was like "no no I got it," and I finally just let him pay instead of arguing but lord it was awkward. If I'd known he was gonna pay I would have just gotten a stupid sandwich or something. I've felt guilty about th…

You gotta keep yourself open to the full spectrum of human emotions, whether they are terrible or wonderful. Trying to numb any of them is a mistake.

I don't see it that way. I get to be there for one of the most important moment's of a friend's life, but then I don't have to do the part afterward where I awkwardly socialize with a bunch of strangers and watch other people dance and drink.

I'm still a virgin at 35 and yeah, I consider dating to be really difficult. Part of it is just being generally unattractive. Part of it is a reinforcing cycle wherein I am aware that I'm shy/awkward/undesirable, and that makes me act more shy/more awkward/more undesirable around men. Whenever I'm on a date, I have a running monologue in my head about how men only want sex, men don't find me sexually desirable, I want to get to know a guy before sleeping with him and he won't have the patience f…

I guess published erotica authors run into a lot of issues if they don't do similar stuff. Omegaverse fanfic has spoiled me 😔

I felt really bad about this exact thing the other day. I was talking to a friend about how the graduate program we both went to was technically my backup, but I picked it because they gave me the most money. She was like "damn, it was my reach school. I got in from the waitlist." Lesson learned, I just gotta keep my mouth shut about shit lol
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/24 03:06 PM

My biggest issue with monster erotica is how many authors pull a bait-and-switch where they give the guy a "human form" for the sex scenes. That shit's weak. Weak bloodline, will not survive the winter, etc.

I'm very glad you exist and thank you for being with us here today, you have deep intrinsic value as a human, you hold incredible purpose in the scheme of the universe, everything you touch matters and the echoes of your impact (no matter how minor that impact may feel to you) will remain long after you're gone. Never let anyone tell you otherwise. Have a nice day.
