I'm in my 20s with high T. I found it easy to drop my extra 10 pounds, and 'convert' (in the context of weight) another 10lb to muscle. I did this by focusing on lifting heavy and cutting out the worst of junk food. And unhealthy "healthy" food (some breads) I gained muscle, which increased my metabolism, which caused me to lost fat. All without cardio, which I find to be a inefficient way to burn calories

That's odd. I'm CS in Canada, we stay in tech areas (let's face it, CS is fucking huge. SWE vs sysadmin...) and all make above average. Maybe you're not a engineer at heart, in which case you need to diversify. If you don't NEED money, focus on trying to get an extra $2 an hour in your future internships. Maybe get a Google adsense certification. Or learn to write technical documentation and give presentations
