Aha sorry I didn't mean to harp on your comment specifically. However I do see this alot on Reddit. I'm not trying to downplay your experiences and I get what you're saying. I don't think acknowledging privilege equals admitting to being handed everything/anything it's more an awareness of your circumstances and that things could be worse.
