I understand, however, I have to admit illness is a massive weak spot for me, I don't know how to calibrate being caring there. I say this because during my drunk blue pill years I have failed MASSIVELY to take the lead when she was ill, literally just completely ignored her until she blew up and left to her family.

So, the texts strictly for logistics only is a bit of a strong rule (like STFU all the time) and is designed for new redpillers who do not have a frame and therefore have no hope of (text or otherwise) gaming while not looking like fools. So I regard these inane texts like I view it when she unloads her day to me after work. I just nod, and say things like "that's interesting", "oh wow", "okay"... And that's exactly what I say via text. It's usually one 2-3 word reply from me for every 2 or 3 te…

We had a "joint" credit card that we used in expenses. She used it for a non-emergency ~$10 dollar cash advance, costing us ~$1.5 in fees. I've cancelled her card immediately after that. Never again.

I was going to disapprove of the lies you had to do, but then I read on about the alochol and drug abuse. I don't think you should openly lie in a marriage (or any relationship), but drastic circumstances, drastic measures. Well done.

First step is for you to own your own shit. ergo, you should be able to do everything for your own self living and survival. This puts you in a true OI mentality. This is a self improvement process. I did everything. EVERYTHING. Cook, clean, breakfast, etc... As if living on my own. I eventually figured out that I own my stuff, and I need to take NO fucking bullshit from anybody because of breakfast or laundry or anything. I don't NEED anybody. After months of doing this, she eventually figured …

In Beta mode I used to have all of these retarded superficial wants like this that centered either on my wanting attention or not owning my shit. Stuff like the example above, wanting breakfast done for me, doing my laundry... etc...

Yup, tried and tested. The true solid NDGAF frame is a frame of happiness that cannot get destroyed by pettiness. There was a post on this sub about the playful nice cat with the most solid frame ever, and how it eventually subdued this other annoying petty cat. I can't find the post, somebody may be able to. This post could have also been summarised by that example. oh fk it was pasted at the end of your post!!!! great minds...

You have a confidence and mission problem - your mission in life revolves around becoming HER alpha rather than THE ALPHA, and that i suspect is coming very strongly as sprinkling alpha around her so she is calling your bluff - all of that calm talk that you're interpreting literally is just a giant "I know you're trying to impress me to get the reins back in this relationship but you're just not capable". You yourself don't believe you're capable so why would she? You have strong oneitis. What …

You are so totally in her frame you're orbiting her better than the moon orbiting earth. Take a step back and a break from all of this bullshit - you going out to look for her has firmly re-established you as an orbiter so don't worry about comfort nonsense - right now you're coming off as a needy asshole child looking for affirmation from mummy. Her sad face alone is making you hamster. Re-establish your frame.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
