This is really good advice, though difficult to juggle in a busy schedule

Same, though there is a lack of effort for me so I'm not upset.

Yeah usually if you already have a meet set, you want to try to "exchange details" first. That's a non-direct way to ask that tends to get a good response

Just don't go out of your way unless they are special, and doing so should let them know exactly that by how you do it. Its just clear communication :P

Counterexample to saying no applying to everything, in improv there is a rule "never say no" because it ends the scene right there, and nothing interesting happened because you just didn't do anything. I agree, don't go out of your way if she won't even go a little for you (water bottle right there) but that doesnt mean you shouldn't still help/do things for others. Most relationships ive had started where I volunteer at, a couple after helping with something I thought small but ended up being a…

I do that sometimes, if someone stops responding quickly I stop checking my phone as frequently. Might be a while if I get caught up in something

That basic math is true, but also why I mentioned no chance for a three some. Can't have both my friend

Yeah, and good luck describing the issue to either of them, the automatic assumption is you're a cheater/player. The first two times it happened to me I didn't get either, the next two times one was clearly a better person, and the last time I actually knew what I wanted. Good learning experience overall, but I wish the timing could have been different

Yes, in fact in high school I called it my "curse of 2s" where if one girl wanted me, some other girl from a completely different friend group would too. No chance of just having a threeway and going our seperate ways, I would kinda just choose one and date for a while. Always felt shitty having to choose though..

They know, they just also move on because they mix it with enough of their own choices that make them happy that someone else not wanting their $100 doesn't matter. Its what you do with the rejection that's important, festering over it will only make the next one worse, and worse, etc.

The more dudes drop out the more value your "likes" have, spread the word anyway. That being said, I've personally stopped using it because it hasn't been worth it once in a couple years now

God damn. Logical is what I usually do, and even just thinking through what you just implied terrified me because I've been doing it wrong for so long

If they had communicated an open relationship it wouldn't even be a hiccup, let alone a reason to get cut from someone's life for good. But yeah, it is still abundant behavior. Cheers.

Just saying, I hope that nice guy in the story broke up with the girl willing to string him along while running around on him. Not that he couldn't have done better in the relationship to keep her attention and focus, just don't think he deserved that happening behind his back. Selfish on the girls part for trying to literally have both at the same time instead of communicating things weren't working.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
