I'm 5'7 and I'd say height really matters on dating apps and less in person. If a cool guy comes up to me I'm not noticing his height too much if we click and he's at least my height. I started applying the same to dating apps as I was tired of meeting a tall hottie who just wants to hook up. My remaining single friends are still too immature in dating to reconsider height but for women who have dating experience they might be less likely to care like myself.

See to me that should be a red alarm that more people have heard about. I feel like fertility in general is such an important part of science and determines if we continue the population or not.

I mean I've seen a large increase in encouraging men to get their breast checked... it's not a gender exclusive diseases just more prevalent in women. My point here is less about who deserves the focus when it comes to science and more about the fact that men cannot gestate a baby, so you'd think for the sake of preserving the human race we'd either figure that out or heavily prioritize women's health. It wasn't well understood or thought about until the late 1800s. Gynecology and obstetrics are…

She did get it. But she brought up something as she expressed that fear. I guess I just wonder how much is I founded fear vs remembering how science has evolved in the past.

I do wonder, has it not, or has the science not been researched in a way that would surface those types of findings? It could truly be either but I wonder why human continuation in itself is often de-prioritized

I'm a little unclear on how that relates to the question I posed, can you clarify?

You make a good point! I guess I've done that myself lol, but forget it's probably happening on the other side too! Good looking could just mean you're around longer than if you were less attractive despite the lack of compatibility. Humans are wildly annoying lol

What about people who are considered generally attractive but also in this position? I feel like it can't all come down to attractiveness? I'm genuinely asking bc I have some really great and hot friends, that have experienced this with me. Damned if they do, dammed if they don't, randomly ghosted either way despite the guys showing high interest

From a woman's POV, I've found the causal sex never turns into dating... but also when I don't have the casual sex it doesn't go far either.... I say this referring only to men where we've clearly mutually enjoyed each other's company and often can maintain some friendship after. So really I think it goes guy to guy, no? Some need casual sex to even consider a relationship while others see you only as casual sex if that's how it starts. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong here but this is just …

Or, many of us women who would've previously been excluded from high paying jobs work hard to overcompensate due to a strong desire to maintain financial safety and avoid having to rely on another person to support us. We also choose roles that support this desired financial net and can be very deliberate in how navigate from earlier on, while still having to work hard to achieve higher level positions and get equal compensation as men. There are a lot of variables and history involved you sound…
