I used to go for girls like that. Now I won't bother. They are usually not good communicators and often have social anxiety. Not characteristics of people I want to be close with

I spotted some wild blackberry bushes a few weeks ago and brought a date there and picked a bunch. That was fun!

So you're not escalating? If you're at her place she wants you, go for the kiss and escalate from there

Surely you'll see her again. Wait for a more opportune time and approach then. Don't beat yourself up

Have you tried dating sites like okcupid? You can put your interest as casual sex and specify you're looking for a fwb setup. I assure you great success

Ok, why do you think I'm not sincere? I searched on google scholar and nothing came up so I asked. Posting my thoughts is a way to facilitate discussion, which is why I came to this sub.

Do you have a source for that? I'm not so sure I agree. Having many partners helps to gauge compatibility, which would actually be a good thing when looking for a LTR (i.e. marriage). Also, the global legal climate still vastly favors marriage when dealing with issues of immigration, taxation, medical decisions, etc. A great concrete example is comparing residence periods for naturalization between single and married applicants

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
