I think the thing is you have to be sincere. I'm not the best looking nor the most charming. But I am pretty funny and genuine. Maybe it won't happen but I've definitely lost the interest of a few girls who were otherwise into me because I seemed too desperate. Things not working out will also not bother you as much.
