Yeah I'm from Long Island, NY where this happened. The Suffolk County Police Department tends to be pretty professional (and well-paid). My cousin is a detective for them and I've met the taller of the two officers here. This happened in Center Moriches which is situated right in the middle of a poorish, working-class area and the very wealthy south fork.

My SO is Hispanic and a med student. The whole "equal opportunity BS" kinda stuff pisses her off because now some people just assume she got where she is because she's a minority and they had a quota to fill. Similarly, I'm white and have a nice job in the financial industry. Plenty of people probably assume it's because I'm white and have no idea I grew up in a working-class environment where most people just end up joining the Army or making meth.

Whole foods has reserved parking for fuel-efficient vehicles. Define fuel-efficient. The only fight I've ever been in was last July. I punched the guy in the face and threw him over a railing. As he's being restrained by other people he keeps calling me a pussy. I had about 80lbs on the guy and he was stupid enough to start a fight with me and then try to keep fighting after I literally picked him up and threw him over a railing. I guess some people are just dumb.
