The male versus female perspectives are completely different. A male has a better chance of physically defending himself against another man. Even if that man may struggle, in an attack being able to defend yourself makes a huge psychologically difference in your confidence to thwart a possible threat. The threat of a violent attack is scary for both men and women, but men have an advantage over women against another man. A male can easily overpower a woman physically just because of his biology…

YES! We do understand the damage that BOTH can inflict but it’s different and I feel like y’all are being willfully obtuse because I’ve explained it in all of my comments already. One is an ANIMAL, who acts off of pure PRIMAL drive. The other is a HUMAN, who is sentient and knows when they are doing something immoral or wrong, a bear different. The male being able to discern from right or wrong and experience empathy is what makes the choice of bear better for women. You can rationalize a bear m…

Obviously no one wants to be attacked but that’s not the hypothetical scenario being discussed. Women encounter men daily in the real world. The question was whether you’d rather run across a man or a bear alone in the woods, though. Plenty of women have encountered men and been sexually assaulted, physically abused, or murdered by men and know exactly what heinous acts of torture they are capable of. That’s why they choose the bear, because men have the capabilities of feeling empathy and know …

At least the worst the bear can do to me is eat me alive whereas a man can rape, beat, and torture me for weeks until he finally offs me then does who knows what to my dead body. There is a difference, a man is a sentient being whereas a bear is an animal that is just going off instinct. A man can control his behavior yet still chooses to attack. If a bear attacks me then it’s unfortunate but it’s a wild animal. I can rationalize a bear murdering me, not a human male. I recently saw a case of a …

Again, you’re not getting it. BOTH options are bad and dangerous, we already know that that. The point is that it’s horrifying and painful to be attacked by either but at least you can rationalize why a bear would attack as they’re an animal. It’s difficult to rationalize why a man would attack because of their human ability to discern right from wrong and ability to feel empathy.

You seem to lack any sense. The difference between a bear and a man is that a bear, if any damage or attack occurs, a bear is only acting on its primal instinct. A man is a HUMAN who is able to discern right from wrong and has the ability of self-control. An attack from a man is not instinct. That’s the difference and why some women prefer the bear over the man.

Women being choosy has nothing to do with the increasing wealth gap, that’s a result of corporate greed and lack of governmental regulation. Stop projecting your frustration of the economic state of the world right now on women and go contact your representatives.

He actually didn’t make that clear at all and just went on an insulting rant about “low value masculine harpies” that he allegedly doesn’t “GAF” about but his comment suggests otherwise.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/24 01:17 PM

Blaming women being choosy about who they date on the wealth gap instead of the government is a choice.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/24 01:12 PM

So if these women you describe are so undesirable, then why do YOU and other men care about how “delusional” or “high” her standards are? You and other men are supposedly not attracted to women like her so why does it matter who they’re attracted to or what they like in a partner? I find this all so bizarre because I have never cared about what men like in potential partners if I was not attracted to them or interested in being in a relationship with them. That’s the issue with a lot of men stru…

So if she’s a SAHM, you wouldn’t contribute at all then?

I never understood this line of thinking because if you were single, the chores wouldn’t disappear. You’d be paying 100% of the bills and doing 100% of the chores. I assume if she’s not contributing as much as you to bills then that’s because she’s a SAHM which is a job itself and is thus saving you an expense from having to pay for daycare

If your n-count is truly in the triple digits then I highly doubt every woman you’ve been with can all take and enjoy big dicks. Maybe a good portion of them but there’s no way 100% of your sexual partners have. There’s way too much anatomical variation to be the case.

Who are you to tell women who can and can’t take. Maybe the women YOU’VE been with haven’t had issues, but that doesn’t discount the experience of millions of other women who have. Unless you’ve been penetrated, I’m failing to see how you think you can speak over so many women just because you so happened to have sex with women who enjoyed or prefer a bigger dick. You’ve not slept with the entire world. It can be painful and not all women like the sensation of struggling to fit it in or being fu…

If a girl “can’t take it” without it hurting, then they may just not be compatible. Sex is supposed to be pleasurable for all parties. What if a man likes to go deep? What if a woman wants it deep? Then the best course of action is to find people with appendages that can fit without causing any discomfort or disappointment. Some women just prefer an average size and some are size queens. Not everyone wants a partner with the biggest penis. Most just want one that doesn’t hurt them and they can r…

I’m a woman lmao. Some women have longer or shorter vaginas, that’s just how they’re born. Just like how men have different size penises. No matter how aroused she is, trying to put a large penis in a small vagina is going to be uncomfortable to some. It’s no one’s fault, that’s just how their bodies are. Not all women love their uteruses being touched during sex because it’s extremely painful, some do. It just depends on the person.

It’s not a “skill issue” it’s just a matter of biological incompatibility. No one can change their anatomy and sometimes things work and sometimes they don’t.

Those aren’t disorders, those are attachment styles introduced by a psychologist, Mary Ainsworth, following her “Strange Situation” experiment which was designed to observe how children are emotionally bonded to their parents.

The husband is not spending much time with the wife, that’s it, imo. How can you foster and maintain a healthy relationship when you’re never around? If he’s working 70 hours a week, I assume the mother is alone with the children all that time as well so does she ever have a break from them? Does she have social interactions with anyone other than their kids? Maybe, or maybe she’s just so overwhelmed from the children she doesn’t want to hang out with other people which may lead her to feel isol…

I’m not sure if you were familiar with this tweet that a man posted a couple months back that sparked much controversy. Some men will consciously stay in unhappy relationships, refuse to break up with their partner, and purposely treat her like shit so they can force HER to be the one to break up instead of being the mature person and ending the relationship when they realize they aren’t compatible. These men, the OP and all the men in the replies sharing similar, and some worse, sentiments towa…

I think this is where you combine all the jobs that SAHM usually do that adds up to that 100k but I haven’t seen exactly where this statistic came from

That’s why I’m asking what evidence does the commenter have that led them to come to the conclusion that X could be true? The data I’ve seen and been referring to does not support the idea that X could be true but if there is data that can back up that proposal I’d be glad to look at it.

Idk if you’ve seen the statistics and data that I’ve included in my comments, but so far they are not showing any discrimination against men in terms of education. Also OP never linked any studies that prove that there is gender based discrimination that causes the disparity between men and women seeking or acquiring a degree. I’d be glad to reconsider though if there are sources that prove so

What is your source for this claim, not doubting you but just want to read up on it for more clarification. If this disparity is true, does it take into account the differences in average GPA between girls and boys in high school? Statistically, women have higher GPAs than men which may play a role in being awarded more merit scholarships, although I don’t think the difference is by a lot, it still is a factor especially since 30% of scholarships are awarded to people with GPAs ranging from 3.0 …

What company is this? Did he report this as discrimination and did the company take action to alleviate the alleged discrimination of men? How does he know that exactly why there were more women working at the internship? Did he know of the ratio of male to female applicants? What about the qualifications of each applicant? In my psychology courses at school there are almost always more women than men in every one of my psych class. Is that discrimination? Is the schedule selecting software bias…

These stats concluded that more women than men who did not go to college or get a degree blamed it not being able to afford it (44%-women to 39%-men). Affordability is an issue for both men and women, in the US at least and isn’t discriminate based on gender. Based on this same data set as well, more men than women said they just didn’t want to go to college, period. That’s not education discrimination. Sorry.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/23 01:34 PM

the point is that it could not “point to discrimination.” How would more women getting into college suggest discrimination for men when stats don’t point to that hypothesis. Are we forgetting that women were historically discriminated against preventing them from accessing secondary education? But yes, “the fact that more women getting into college could point to discrimination” preventing men from applying and working towards a degree just like everyone else.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/23 04:19 AM
12

How is that discrimination? It’s just because more men tend to dominate in blue collar or trade jobs that don’t necessarily need college degrees while women dominate in careers that require degrees like nursing or education. Obviously there are other factors at play but to say that men face discrimination seems a bit of a stretch, especially after the decision by the Supreme Court on affirmative action (which white women benefited the most from).

Of course you can express anecdotes, but your personal experience can not be used to generalize a whole group of people
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/23 01:47 PM

That’s true, women like men who respect and have a healthy relationship with their mothers which is different from being a mama’s boy.

Men wouldn’t even be alive to construct those things if a woman didn’t risk her life and carry him to term then birth him. Women also maintain the modern world and are active participants in society so I’m not entirely understanding what you’re going on about there. If you think infrastructure building (I’m assuming you’re referring to physical labor, but correct me if I’m wrong) is the only important thing in a society, then I think you’re neglecting the other industries that women are heavily …

Without a woman, you or every other man wouldn’t even be in existence if she hadn’t risked her life to go through pregnancy and labor to birth you and bring you into this world. It was a woman who created you and all other men yet so many women aren’t respected either. Respect is earned, not just assumed.

A strange, inebriated man coming up to a young woman who is alone IS scary. You have no idea who this person is or what he’s capable of in that state. Who knows if he even shared his name. Doesn’t help that the man cannot read social cues and couldn’t tell she wasn’t interested from the get go and didn’t even want to entertain the conversation.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/23 02:01 PM

No he’s creepy because he sounds high and drunk and randomly went up to a young girl just minding her business to hit on her. You didn’t even see his face to determine what he looked like so idek why you brought up his appearance being a factor in why he was rejected. His behavior was ugly and very uncomfortable.

If that toothpick man gets knocked out, accidentally hits his head on the ground, and then dies, you could get charged with manslaughter regardless if it was self defense or not if a jury finds that your use of force was unnecessary or excessive in regards to the threat. The best case scenario is to just de-escalate, walk away, and then call the police.

Then they also blame women for initiating divorce after they settled because of men like them
