I’m sorry to tell you but the context makes this look even worse.

The girl who clocked the red jacket guy with her shoe was saying he’s poor for having a vintage 90s 8-Ball jacket, telling him to make more money basically. I’m paraphrasing from the last time this vid was shared around. I know there’s a related article from when this happened I’ll try to find it. Edit: there are a few articles about this story but this one tells the story in the most straightforward way imo

“When women make men feel emasculated even through minor humor, the response is violent!” Meanwhile: “words are violence” “rape jokes perpetuate rape culture” “jokes that aren’t funny (to me) aren’t jokes they’re microaggressions” “stop hiding your misogyny behind humor” Meanwhile: “you must have a tiny dick” “you’re definitely secretly gay lol” “they’ll love you in prison” “haha haha kill all men haha it’s a joke” “was your dad not around or something when you were a kid? Lol just a joke wait w…

The point I’m actually trying to make is that everyone’s experience with sexual harassment is different. I haven’t experienced it a lot as a woman, but I’m not stupid I know there are women who have had a lot of negative experiences with it like the post suggests. I even had a negative experience with unwanted male attention at 14, I’m really not saying it happens to one over the other, I know how it comes across like that but it’s really just to show that it’s not black and white or a one sided…

Well if you read the whole thread you’d see I say I’m not claiming my experience to be representative, just that I’ve had a very different experience. I don’t know what you mean saying I must be “fkkn beat”? I’m not really trying to counter anything. Just saying that it happens to guys too and to discount and discredit those stories because they happen to men is just as bad if not worse than the fact that women get harassed. “Heavily studied” okay where is 1 study that confirms the “generally ag…

Basically saying “why not just go to prison! Women can’t assault you in prison!” (Insert totally insensitive and ironic prison rape joke)

Is that supposed to mean ugly? I mean maybe? It’s happened to me before but I’m saying he has more stories of women physically grabbing him, deliberately violating his space, or taking advantage of the fact that he was in a service position and they were customers... stuff like that. Men haven’t harassed or assaulted me or violated my space to the same degree that he has recounted to me, which is something I’m told will happen to me just by virtue of being a woman.

Yeah the majority of what he told me was in the context of him working in a service industry, female customers (also often older) would grab his lower half, back and front. He did say he felt it was because of his station relative to the offenders’. I’m sorry you went through that, especially coworkers not understanding why it would upset you?? Like um how about personal space? And degrading comments about your body are uncomfortable especially coming from strangers. I’m glad you found a better …

Yeah, that and when it happens to a guy he gets called “lucky”. Or that he should just get over it cause “it’s not really that big a deal, what could a woman even do to a man? Lol just throw her off!”

Plot twist: is a woman. I’m not saying that my and his experiences are universal or anything, just that I’m sick of all the one-sidedness in OP’s screenshot. Like no it’s not as black-and-white as “if you’re a woman you get sexualized by men and don’t bring up the inverse.”

My boyfriend has been sexually harassed and even assaulted by women more times in his life than I’ve been even catcalled by men.

The least self aware comment in that entire thread: “a few of my ex’s talked like this. They were just trying to get back to my warm, kind personality —usually for ego strokes! blockedt!!” Doubt there’s a warm or kind bone in any FDS body

It’s like the “don’t shame me for being a woman/lgbt person/ POC/ slightly overweight person” evolved into “no judgement will stop me from wearing crotchless shorts, 8 sizes too small, to my child’s dance recital DON’T SHAME ME.”

This sub is anti female privilege, not anti female. We don’t know the whole story and yeah he may have been “a shitty husband” whatever that means to you, but he might have been a normal guy who got dicked over by someone he thought loved him but walked out when she had the money to never have to worry about having a job or keeping her marriage together. Imo this sub exists because people have begun to notice a trend of women “getting away with things”, particularly things like physical/sexual a…

Thank you for that, that’s exactly what I thought. Like being trans isn’t a walk in the park. I don’t know what it’s like personally but I know they aren’t wishing anything fun or liberating on this child. They’re hoping he struggles with the confusion and mental anguish and realizes he’s actually a woman because “man bad”.
/r/AntiFeminists14/07/20 12:18 PM

All the people saying “I hope the baby ends up trans” ..... you hope the baby ends up in the supposedly highest suicide demographic, with the supposedly highest chance of being murdered (according to them), you hope this baby grows up to be so confused and hurt that he feels like he has to do HRT and surgery. They are praying for a life of hardship and confusion for a baby JUST BECAUSE he was born male and to the royal family. That is fucking disturbing.

Just like Netflix or whatever making Wynona Earp (off Wyatt Earp) and a random female Van Helsing? Why not a badass lady from the Wild West (Jane Cannery/Calamity Jane) or make a cool female monster hunter character? Because they don’t want female representation, they want to reappropriate characters from actual history or from established fiction/mythology either out of malice or laziness. Female Thor? I’m sorry but there are SO MANY female Norse gods to make movies about.. You can’t just slap …

Not always. The guy this woman ends up dating is “one of the good ones” until she gets bored of him then “he was always abusive/a wimp/loser/whatever I don’t know how I didn’t see it before!”

I won’t imagine a scenario where I’m a woman joking to my coworkers about getting a boyfriend JUST so that I can cut out his organs in order to buy an iPhone. I would never make a joke about men being worthless because it’s such a lazy, ugly, shit sad attempt at comedy and it just reinforces the “women aren’t funny” stereotype. Many a truth is said in jest. The women who think they’re cool and edgy and “feminist” because they make jokes about how worthless men are are no better than the men they…

They were saying that when they presented as female, they got a lot more empathy and sympathy from people compared to now that they are taking t and look more like a man than a woman. They say “because I now look like a man, I get none of the positive input I got as a woman.” It’s a direct, perfect example of how people view men. This person has literally lived the difference between presenting as a lesbian woman and a straight (awkward) man and they’re laying out that difference whether aware o…
