Does it feel good to grieve? If so, complete the process. If not, refocus away from the life lost and toward the life you still have to gain. So much in your future ahead! 43 and at least half of your life to go! There are many women much older than you still stuck in dead end relationships. You have a life full of respect built on your own terms ahead of you that you are in full control of designing right now!! Go get it!!!

This! 💯 my former on again off again ex bf of four years, who I let waste my youth, and who probably refers to me as a “situationship” or some bs, literally has this mindset. Every fight always ended with me calling him out on his desire to pick me up and put me in a box and store away in his closet when things got stressful. Any inconvenience in his life resulted in him “needing to focus”, “get his priorities straight”, “get through this period at work”. And then come back and take me out again…

Registries make me nervous because it sets precedent for social credit systems. They are also unhelpful because what women in DV situations need are safe affordable and anonymous places to live, access to immediate private financial independence, and a system that supports believing women and allowing them to protect their children and maintain custody. Also restraining orders without 90 loopholes and prerequisites. This does however remind me of an app that existed several years ago called like…

Also, they never seem to envision their children as their own people, instead of a fantasy second childhood. What happens if your kid hates sports? Is he going to learn ballet or d&d or robotics? Probably not.

Wait, so female cats get hYsTeRiA and if they miss their dick appt they need to go to specifically male vets for their vibrator treatment?! 😂 I think during ovulation week I’ll start referring to it as “heat week” instead 😜

Seems like she should make him do this more. Clearly he needs to learn how to adult. Time for him to buy groceries every week now. On top of his job. The horrors! Oh and when he forgets her snacks or gets the wrong cold cuts for their kids’ lunches, I guess he will have to go back to the store again! Leave men no space for weaponized incompetence. Send that right back to them!

Exactly. Artists & actors (or anyone with a career that has instability in the consistency of jobs) always know all of local tricks to cheap food -- always take the free food! Open houses, free samples, closing time at bagel stores & bakeries, informational sessions, etc. I also have a multitude of recipes from my great-grandmothers living through the depression, all have like 4 or 5 cheap ingredients thrown together to make a meal. What happened to feeling bad about not being able to pay? If I …

I wish I knew ones who didn't, because almost all of the dudes I know do. Some are better at hiding it than others, most have finstas and a multitude of burner accounts, with separate burner emails, and some even have separate browsers specifically for those emails & instas. One guy thought he was slick because he only was following female "friends" he knew in real life, aka hundreds of former dates he met on OLD. One guy thought he was slick because he didn't directly follow IG models but when …

Absolutely! I was always so confused as to why when men left me they dated women who were “less than” but not in a bad or mean way just not as stylized, done up, glamorous, with less obvious ambitions, hobbies, education, personality etc. I wasn’t implicating that I thought I was better than those women, more so that it made me feel like I was “too much” and if I could just be more “normal” or “less than” too and not stand out as much or take up as much attention or know as many facts, that I wo…

“Out of a job for health reasons” but can’t afford breakfast? What about disability insurance payments, state disability support, fmla, UI, EBT, part time freelance online work etc surely there is some support for this man so he can get a hot breakfast besides raiding his gf’s purse while she’s sleeping. He thinks he is so sneaky. Grocery stores have cameras at the registers. So now he’s on tape getting permission to use her card and access the pin and witnesses to it. Now he can just take a pic…

They are bargain hunters, their soul belongs to thrift store. Thank you! Now I finally understand Macklemore's popularity.

Yes, the ole' "seems like your picker is broken" blame. Like okay, sure maybe it was broken, but how is it my fault when they all lie, cheat, and deceive so well, and every time I questioned it friends and family would say "you're being too picky". People just love bringing women down.
