In my opinion, not enough. It seems to be a legality issue in the UK with the definition of rape. Myth: Men cannot be sexually violated by women. Reality: Although the majority of perpetrators are male, men can also be sexually violated (though not legally raped) by women. SurvivorsUK define male sexual violation as any unwanted or non-consensual sexual act performed against a man or boy at any time in his life.

Of course a guy shouldn't hit a woman. A woman shouldn't hit a guy either. That's not a negative point of your upbringing, that's common decency.

Lots of gems on this site, including victimized women being forced to dance to music by the evil patriarchy, the horrors of it all.

As a woman whose mother spent this money similarly instead of using it on food for yours truly, this really strikes a nerve.

How the heck are you deducing that men can't consent from women being allowed to express their sexualities? Also, the right to have sex isn't the right to have sex with someone who doesn't want to have sex with you. You're confusing the right to have sex with demanding sex from an unwilling party.

Please, please, please, if it hasn't already been done, cross post this on over to /r/TwoXChromosomes. I think a lot more folks need to hear this.

Female here, long time lurker. Got a nasty example of this from my own life. My parents began their divorce around when I was twelve. The courts assumed I would be better off living with my mother, as courts often do, and so I was shipped off. It was an unstable environment, we lived in 6 houses and 2 countries in less than a 2 year period and I switched schools 3 times. I should point out that this entire time, she was not working. She didn't work for a minute. Instead, she lived off child supp…
