Very insightful. It’s hard to admit that she’s just not feeling it and either you can’t do anything about it or it’s not anything wrong with you. There’s been times where I had to just realize continued communication, even simple questions, will just not get anywhere and you have to walk away.

A woman or girlfriend is not going to solve your problems or make you happy. I was in a similar position when younger, I thought all I had to do was convince some woman to be with me and I’d be happy. I know you don’t want to hear it, but get some hobbies, find friends, take up interests, find a purpose in life that doesn’t involve women. Similar thing happened to me when I was around the same age. She fooled around with me for a while then ran off. Some girls test you to see how you react. It doesn’t mean you have an “easy in” because they like you, they are shit testing you to see if you pass. Same here. She was WAY out of my league, very smart, somewhat successful, athletic and fit, outgoing, up for anything, she was the perfect girl when she was having a good week. But my god, the bad days and weeks, the depressive side of manic-depressive, it was a nightmare. Nice post. My first thought is while they may be insecure on the inside or while at home, that doesn't help when they have their game face on and are out in public.
