This comment misses the point. I do not expect men to open doors for me or give up their seats because I know that too often that's met with hate. Even if it were never (theoretically) met with hate, the reason you shouldn't expect men to open doors for you is that you should expect to be treated equally. You should not expect special treatment on account of your gender.
