Yeah those were the exact same two phrases that were the biggest red-flags to me as I read that too!

Oh shit, you're right... jesus she definitely look older than 35; almost has that grandmotherly/librarian look to her.

Yeah no kidding, most youtube comments sections are a complete shit-show of worthless and moronic comments. This video actually has a whole bunch of insightful comments.

Yeah, trying a bit TOO hard to look all tough, and they didn't quite get it right, so it just comes off as inauthentic.

The funny this is, your first two paragraphs indicate the need for balance: "I am not a nofap dipshit"... and: "With that being said, masturbation in excess is not a good thing" So balance is definitely an important concept here, but then the rest of your argument seems to rely on the presumption that guys who read and contribute to MGTOW are totally obsessed with it, and basically their whole lives revolve around the association of MGTOW. I can see how it might appear that way on the surface, a…

Yeah, the OP comes-off as a complete spaz. This comment is a good example: "I'm sure I've whipped a bunch of faggots into a froth so..." Just trying WAY too hard to seem all tough.

Exactly. What you do is what defines you. Or, put another way, your actions define you.

This line also stood-out to me: " My entire family had noticed this behavior going on for over a year now, but I had had enough." So this dude let OVER A YEAR go by where she was distant with him AND his kids. That's a big mistake. Whatever is causing the stand-offish behavior, you can let a few days of that go by, maybe even 1-2 weeks, but that's it. If you let much more time than that go by without doing anything, you're essentially saying you're ok with it.

Dude your height is certainly some disadvantage, but I'd remind you that the Alpha/Beta classification is NOT an all or nothing thing. It's not a binary, 0 or 100 and nothing in-between thing. From what I can tell from reading this subreddit, that's still one of the bigger misconceptions in this realm. The best thing you can do is maximize all of your other qualities to increase your "alpha to beta" ratio, so to speak. Remain cognizant of your height disadvantage, but don't dwell on it and let i…

You could take another route with this, and in my case, it would be absolutely my true stance. My response would essentially be to set aside the "getting fat" aspect, and focus on the behavior that allowed her to get fat in the (hypothetical) first place. In other words, don't accept that way she's framed the question, and re-frame the hypothetical. No one gets fat overnight. It happens over time, through neglect, poor discipline, overeating, etc. Those are behaviors that are so contradictory to…

Wow, that was a cringeworthy read. It's just a reminder that there a lot of dudes out there that have convinced themselves that they are "alpha" when in reality they are maybe 10% of the way there. OP, no offense, but if you really want to do yourself some good, you should realize that you still don't fully even understand what it means to be "alpha" and that you still have a LOT to learn and grow.

I don't believe she even believes this. She's just trying to do something outrageous to keep getting attention. And it's working: we're talking about it here, and in other places.
