Not being able to criticize liberal feminism is the biggest problem with liberal feminism. It's considered politically correct to support sex work, porn, BDSM, etc. even though all these things are detrimental towards women. You can't educate the willfully ignorant. Telling someone who wants to legalize sex work about human trafficking in Germany, or telling someone who supports surrogacy about impoverished women being exploited in that industry, is only going to get you accused of being a SWERF…

Men only get "survival of the fittest" when it applies to fighting each other. It's well documented in the wild that females only want the most successful of the species. In human society, that's usually based on wealth.

You know now that I think about it... it kinda sounds like hunting? Like instead of going after some deer or other prey they go after a woman. Men who don't see us as people have no problem acting like animals themselves.

It's just like choking in that there's no way to do it that wouldn't be risking your partner's health, so any reason at all would be disgusting, even if a woman wants it. Even if a man doesn't know anal could hurt his partner, that's still terrible because it means he didn't even bother to look it up.

For me, my own personal womb morality includes not letting any man, even if I have a husband, to have any legal rights over my children. If I decide to have kids I'm getting that high quality sperm from a bank, if they want an incubator they can look elsewhere.

It's not all men so we made a label for all the bad men so we can refer to those bad men in particular... why is this so hard for them to understand.

It depends on the dad... some of them (misogynists...) believe that since they're a man they're incapable of giving emotional support, that it's a woman's job, so they'll put the emotional labor on their wives and daughters instead.

Instead of working through their issues they just want to take it out on their partners. The only woman these men should be seeing is a therapist.

How fucked up is it that this doesn't sound weird to me? Like with all the men talking about how much they prefer teenagers, the societal conditioning that presents girls as "underage women" and children who have just gotten their period as "in their prime childbirthing years," I've gotten used to men openly dating, buying or lusting after the youngest, most immature and vulnerable women they can get their hands on. Have you ever seen a grown ass woman talking about teenage boys like that? It so…

Just because he was genuinely the victim in his previous relationship, doesn't mean his perception hasn't been damaged by it. My mom married a man who had been with an abusive narcissist for years, was really cautious and verified his story from other people, but he is still a self admitted misogynist who doesn't believe women are capable of love the same way men are. While I know this is because of the abuse (at least in part...) he uses misogyny to justify not doing the chores, and my mom is j…

I wonder if porn users are more likely to think like this too... porn treats women as objects, even the less kinky stuff still has that sort of subconscious message, and each time they get off to it only reinforces that viewpoint.

I second this, I love my menstrual cup. As soon as my cramps stop it's like I'm not even on my period. I recommend getting some pairs of period panties to go with it just in case it leaks but it rarely does so and it's way better than pads.

I think they are referring to a post about a woman who made candles with her sister (who she was incredibly close with) who then died, she kept the candle her sister made her and buried her sister with the one she made. Then something happened to the lights (power outage?) while she was at work and her LVM ignored her huge candle stash and instead completely used up that candle knowing it was the last thing her sister made for her and how emotionally attached she was to it.

I'm not a mother, but many of them here talk about not letting the people they're vetting near their children at first, and them wanting to meet your children immediately, asking about them a lot, is a red flag because many pedophiles date single mothers to get access to their children.

I think allowing him to ask for a method of communication is best so you can see if he asks for your number or not, then you can tell him you prefer to use an app and which one. I believe there are apps that allow you to call and text from a different number that would appear as if you're texting from your own phone number though, so you can try that.

A duchenne smile is considered a genuine smile due to the belief that the eye muscles that make the corner of your eyes crinkle move involuntarily. Some people can fake a duchenne smile however, and it is easier to do so while looking at someone who is smiling genuinely according to this article: http://bodylanguageproject.com/articles/can-probably-fake-honest-smile-deliberate-duchenne-smile/

Whenever I see men talking about it it's usually to complain about how complicated and hard it is to make women cum, and talking about how women look or smell down there, really makes me wonder if they're actually attracted to us? They like every part of us but our vulvas. I know a bisexual woman who talked about eating women out versus sucking dick, one is hard because it requires skill, and every woman likes it differently. The gas mask underwear thing reminds me of two men who came into the store I worked at wearing panties as masks. And if I felt something weird in my pocket I would just pull it out no hesitation, imagine pulling your wife's underwear out of your pocket in public, gross.

I think it's a generalization, I have heard women do more body monitoring than men do, so while the quote doesn't describe all women, it does describe our tendency as a group to do so. I had a childhood blessed by both ignorance and apathy towards what other people, especially boys, thought of me, besides some mild insecurity about my leg and arm hair. Now that I'm an adult unfortunately it feels like I've become more and more obsessed with my appearance, but it is possible to not care.

Some additions to each point: 1) You rarely see any truly stoic men (at least where I'm from), they have no problem complaining about their problems, and even when they're bottling it up inside they still manage to bring down the mood of the whole household and make it everyone else's problem. And if society is so anti men's feelings, why do they garner so much sympathy from people here whenever they speak of them? Make it make sense. 2) Men should try and hug other men. Men should also complime…

I can't believe men will blame women for their suicides and their loneliness, it's well known that men make friends with other men, women make friends with other women. If men are lonely, they should be talking about why men have issues making male friends, being there for their friends, etc.

I used to work as a sort of greeter at a store so of course I got asked for help by men and women often, one thing I noticed is (contrary to the Karen stereotype) men were way ruder and less understanding than the women. Of course women got attitudes too about things I didn't know or couldn't help with, but it was still easier to keep them calm than men. They also asked me for help with things that weren't store related more often, like directions and things which I usually couldn't help with.

With everything I've seen on here, I don't think it's worth it to date men. I don't have to worry about homophobia where I'm at, so in comparison dating men sounds much riskier. I'd still vet a woman of course but I won't have to worry about whether or not she even sees me as a person just because I happen to be a woman. I wish we could report these things, I mean assult is illegal and thus reportable, saying "I would fuck your corpse instead of crying if I saw you dead" like a psychopath really isn't. I can't believe these people are the ones we go to for moral guidance, the ones who invented most religions and are the philosophers most remembered by history. I imagine women would have more depth and understanding into these matters, both having experience with oppression and, from what I've read, a greater capacity for empathy. I'll have to pick up some books on female philosophers.

This kills me. That's why LVM get by doing the dishes once a year and their girlfriend praises them to the moon, and why it can be hard to follow FDS advice. Recieving attention, assistance, even just a free meal can be difficult when you are used to being used. 50/50 feels like 90/10 when you're used to 99/1. It kind of sounds like he did have sex with her because he had to specify that he didn't even bother to get to know her personality, while still saying they didn't have a connection... And also since we do not recommend paying for dates, this shows how men benefit from women paying, but women do not get any return on that investment. We don't pay to get disappointed by mediocre men here. We don't hate men either, just the ones who treat us like trash.

I would want a "wife" (minus the sexual things) if she were a robot, or someone I paid to do all that, or else I'd feel guilty. How can you not feel bad making someone else do all of that for free while you do nothing? I know women who say they wish they had wives though, who do all the domestic labor for husbands (or boyfriends) who are too misogynist (sometimes by their own admission...) to help around the house. It's really sad.

Also not OP but I think the point of this is dressing up not just for the female gaze but mostly for your own, since women will see your own personal style and appreciate it more than LVM. Women do tend to be better at decorating themselves and the spaces around them. Sources might not be so helpful as a method of figuring out your own style. My mom used to drive three hours to pick us up/drop us off for visit weekends (a six hour round trip) with 6 hyper children in the car, while working two jobs. The only time she didn't come was when the weather was too dangerous, or when she had car troubles, and when she did she would always make fixing her car/getting a new one her number one priority. Men seem to be more visual because they can choose partners based solely on looks because they don't have to worry about being raped and murdered by them. Men say they're "visual" when they only want to date people they're attracted to and we're "shallow" when we want the same because the double standard works in their favor.

If they have a problem with it, why do they still have sex with these women? If they know they're going to lose interest after sex, why wouldn't they make that their boundary? Prostitution isn't regulated, that younger looking "consenting adult" could very well be an actual child. But even if she isn't, how is it better to rape an adult when you could be raping no one? I'm so sick of these people acting like "non offending pedophiles" are a protected class. You can't say you hate pedos without someone trying to be like "not all pedophiles." Yeah, sexually perverse is a good term for them. Thinking about it, no one is really considered a pervert anymore, except pedophiles. Cannibalism, sexual slavery and torture are all considered normal kinks, it's all okay as long as the victims are over 18, but even that is slipping... I think the sacrifice of mothers in childbirth, whether they live or die, is devalued just like "women's work" is because it's expected of us. Society values us only as mothers, so we're just fulfilling our biological duty. I've noticed that they do talk about women under videos and things about men's issues, not to take the attention away from men but to bash women. Like, "women don't experience insert single issue here so they have it soooo much easier" or "really telling how feminists aren't talking about it/doing anything about this" or "if this were happening to women then it would be taken seriously." Then they wonder why people associate men's rights with misogyny.

I don't know, I've seen a study where men were asked if they'd force a woman to have sex with them and if they'd rape a woman, more said they'd force a woman to have sex with them than said they'd rape a woman, so if you tell them directly that what they're doing is rape, it may cause them to hesitate.

They have to pay child support for children they create... just like non custodial mothers. And also alimony for the women they chose to marry... which women can also pay. And they're soooo expendable in this "gynocentric" society because they have the choice to work dangerous jobs and sometimes they get drafted... forget how society only cares about us as mothers, and the millions of women who have lost their health or their lives to childbirth.

It's trying to be fair in all the "issues" that men face dating. So men don't like approaching, paying, waiting for sex, providing? Any time it's brought up they'll mention one time a woman told them to man up or that they shouldn't cry when they were being emotional and say that's why they don't open up ever as if that makes it our fault as a whole. But while women may get more support when sad, we are taught that we can't express anger. We're not taken seriously when we do, and when you repress anger it can negatively impact your mental health as well. Female and male socialization both have their downsides, but it's still…

If we can abstain from alcohol and cigarettes for nine months while pregnant, surely they can abstain before and while trying to conceive. That would be a good way to vet your child's potential father. If he can't put effort into creating his child, he's not going to put any into raising them either.

So true. My best friend is with a man that makes no time for her at all, he is on his phone watching videos all day, even while she's trying to talk to him. But despite not putting the bare minimum into his relationship with her, he still says he wants to be poly someday.

They seem to think that if one woman posts or comments about their opinions or preferences that we all believe/want that thing. It is impossible to ask for a man that would satisfy every woman on FDS, because we're all different. If they can say we have impossible standards, they don't have to admit that the standards we do have are reasonable and the fact that they cannot meet them is absolutely pathetic.

Because women are expected to love unconditionally. That's why it's okay for a woman to cook, clean, and provide for an unemployed man who does nothing for her. He deserves to be loved and understood for all his flaws, and it is her job to provide that. We exist only to love them. We're broken, if we cannot love a man. Whereas if a man works and his girlfriend or wife (who more often than not cooks and cleans for him) doesn't, then she's a lazy gold digger, because a man's love is expected to be…

Do we have the same parents? My mom drove an hour to see me on my birthday even though she knew I had to work and would only get to see her for a few minutes (I called off though). My dad doesn't even stop to talk to me when we see each other at the grocery store, and I haven't visited him since covid started. For all the underhanded tactics he used to take custody of me and my siblings from our mother, he still doesn't even try to pretend to have any interest in us whatsoever.

These women can't take their frustration out on men because they don't have that sort of societal power over them, so they turn on other women as a way of feeling the power that they lack. Men don't need to do this to each other, they have women to abuse. At least, that's my theory.

They probably either don't care because their partners are not supermodels, or think they're simps for not treating them like trash. If they actually engaged with the real world it might help them, but they probably just play video games and scroll reddit while their poor mother (who they hate) takes care of them.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
