If your in your 20’s you definitely need to date older to get a better chance in finding a provider. It’s not impossible but it’s hard if you stick with your age range

How much longer are you willing to wait for him to reach his potential? You said you are dating with intention and it sounds like your boyfriend doesn't really have the traits you are looking for. He isnt providing, he doesnt respect your growth (finds your values cringe)

Is he providing, protecting, respecting, loving (all the traits you are looking for) etc enough to silence the voice in your head? Are the things he does affecting your self esteem? Trauma can always be worked on together in a relationship. Just make sure you are both willing

May I know what kind of traits you are looking for in a partner?

A common mistake among women is dating without any intentions. We meet someone, we fall inlove and then we find ourselves in an unhappy situation. Maybe coz we're still young and we arent even sure of our own identity yet. I made the same mistake when I was in my early 20's. Now I'm in my mid 20's and what I do differently is that I made a list of all the qualities I want in a partner and all the qualities I need to have to attract those qualities from a partner. I made non negotiables. If they …

Are you trying to pay for something coz you want to and it makes you happy or you feel bad for receiving things? I ask this because you feel awkward about it. Usually people are happy to offer something and not feel awkward if its something they really want to do and not something out of obligation. If it’s the first one I suggest you just offer it after dinner you can say you wanna grab desert/drinks at ___ and pay for it.

The longer you worse it will get. You can never change a person. A person will only change if they want to and it looks like your bf doesnt want to change. You need to be logical and weigh your situation. Make a list of pros and cons and decide how much you are willing to compromise or if the cons are deal vreakers to you. You are an adult and can make your decisions at the end of the day. Just make sure to take accountability of your actions. Nowww if it were me tho I would just leave. No man i…

You guys could be inlove but not in the same chapter of your lives. It's up to you if you are willing to wait or not. Personally I wouldn't

This. I just wanna add I would not say I am looking for a provider when asked about my job. It should be for a different topic like what values you are seeking from someone is asked

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
